Hey guys,

Beginning this week we're going to be featuring a player that has been really impressive during the NBA season. Every Friday I will post the player who all of you think has been the most impressive player of the week and create a blog entry featuring that player. Also if you guys have a highlight reel featuring the player of your choice, the best one will be featured in our blog.

This week I've chosen Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks. So each week on the forums let us know the player you think that should be highlighted and get your highlight reel videos posted so we can give that player the recognition they deserve.

Hey Backflash, I think you guys should worry about giving Marcus Thornton the recognition he deserves because he's still a clone in the game... He has been playing significant minutes in these last few games, and he was the leading scorer for the Hornets/Blazers game last night...

The clone issue will be addressed once we get more DNA updates released. It's an annoying issue but something that we will address as soon as we can.

Now back to the topic.

Thank You

As for the topic:

I think that the two rookies for the Hornets have been pretty impressive this week
They've both stepped up and earned a spot in the regular rotation, and are averaging at 10.0 (Collison) and 10.7 (Thornton) ppg this week.
Also, in the absence of Chris Paul last night, both rookies stepped up and scored a combined 38 points (Thornton 20, Collison 1, the rest of the team scored 40, and almost led a major comeback....

That's my opinion...

Brandon Jennings eh? Yeah he deserves to be noticed, he stepped it up with Redd out nowadays.

Here's a replay video I made of him. It ain't too great but he crosses his fellow rookie Tyreke Evans and lays it up.

I've got to agree with you that he is the best shooter in the game.
I seriously make at least 80% of the 3's I shoot with him. Glad that he's seeing more minutes this year, he could be something in the near future.

I think this weeks highlighted player should be Marcus Thornton

Over this past week, he's had 12, 19, 21, and 24 points and has sparked the hornets bench, which has been one of the worst in the last couple years. Also, he's helped the Hornets' get back on track by going 3-1 this week (should be 4-0, but the refs don't know how to call fouls on Dwayne Wade at the end of games) with the absence of CP3.

I'd say Darren Collison should also be considered for this. He's really stepped in for the injured CP3. Very fun to watch, that little guy is so quick.
