Nonsense

It all started when our customers in Late January began asking if we were going to host Bad Company 2 servers when the game came out. As a server company that strives to provide the best servers in the industry, of course we set out to contact EA in regards to becoming a "certified" provider. Our first contact with EA was over 3 months ago. I first emailed EA and to no surprise received an email around a week later explaining that due to the high volume of emails they receive, EA would be unable to respond to my request. I called support, in which I was disconnected 3 times while on hold, while finally getting through to a person on the 4th try. After asking who to speak with regarding how End of Reality could become EA Certified they replied asking if I needed help with my BC2 server. The support person took down our company information and what we were requesting and I was promised a call back. A good week went by with no response or calls.

At this time it, we were bordering 1 month since the first time we had contacted EA in regards to certification. I called again and this time asked immediately for a supervisor. I was put in contact with Brad the floor supervisor at EA support. He was quite helpful and I felt I was making head way when he asked a list of questions about the company and mentioned he would send this over to the tech guys to make sure our hardware could handle the game. Being the top performance server provider in the USA, we have the best hardware in the industry, but protocol was protocol and I was willing to wait it through.

Another week went by and no response again. Called support, asked for a supervisor, I was told my info was already taken down and in queue for revision. Yet another week went by with no word from support or anyone.
I decided calling corporate directly would possibly do the trick. As everyone might guess, another round of "EA Phone Tag" for a full month commenced. The operator transferred me to Ms. Walker in Marketing. I was told Marketing had no say in the certification and should try contacting Pogo. Pogo was surprised when they got a call from me. They asked the same question I did: “What does Pogo have anything to do with becoming EA certified in order to host Bad Company 2 servers?”

Called back to corporate and Ms. Walker took down the company information again. She mentioned she would poke around to see who could help me. I left voicemail after voicemail with no response for 3 weeks. In those 3 weeks I even drove down to EA's Los Angeles office on Jefferson Blvd. which they would not let me in to since I didn't know someone inside. When Ms. Walker finally got back to me, I was told to call Lars Gustavsson, the Lead Designer of Bad Company 2. With over a 9hr timezone difference and the fact that the Swedish office did not have an answering machine rendered that attempt futile.

Now bordering onto 3 months, I called corporate again and this time the operator transferred me to a gentleman named Alex. I will leave his full name out due to the fact that he has tried to help me for the past week leading up until today but to no avail.

Cliff Notes:
3 months of email and phone tag across the world

It costs EA basically nothing to allow us to host their games on our premium grade servers and network. I don't get what they have to lose.

These guys offer the best servers by far. Team Exultance is a multigaming organization and we buy all our servers from them, and satisfied doesn't even come close to my opinion with them. Their support is amazing and their servers are nothing less than perfect. I think they are well deserving of this. If you guys want to even test their servers i would be more than happy to let you guys play in one of ours.

Unbelievable servers. I'm honored to have our organization sponsored by these guys, their servers are nothing but top quality. By far the best attitude I've seen in a Game Server Company and their servers are nothing but the best.

These guys deserve it!

It's a shame that such a great company as EA cannot return a simple phone call to one of the best game server providers I know, End of Reality. I've used game servers from several game server providers; however, End of Reality is by far the best you can go with. With state-of-the-art technology at several data centers, as well as #1 customer support, End of Reality is hands down a worthy provider to support EA Games and/or Battlefield servers to gamers nationwide.

I've been using End of Reality for over a year and it's been the best choice I've made. I am glad that End of Reality continues to sponsor our LAN events and EA would make a wise decision to contact End of Reality to certify the best GSP in the U.S. if not the world.

All the best,

That sounds like EA for you. EA customer service is so useless -_-. I have been having a problem with my C&C game for about a month now, and customer service cant even figure out 2+2.

O and the BF Bad Comp 2 servers are crappy. I play BF Bad Comp 2 for xbox 360 and love xbox live. But everytime I go to play a match, its a lag fest. This is the only game where I get lag in EVERY round. Its like wow, time to go back to COD.

Uhm... sounds like outsourcing to me. That would explain the lack of communication within EA!

I tried to play BF BC2 on xbox live, and I was one of those rare people that gets the permissions issue, I talked to EA support for hours and ended up having to return the game to GameStop because they had no clue how to resolve the issue. Now that I hear they use laggy servers from this thread, maybe its a good idea the game never worked, because I would of been let down.

On a side note... I've seen End of Reality's servers do very well in tournaments at LAN, and the staff understand the fundamentals/mechanics of professionalism both in maintaining servers and collaboration with well established organizations, corporations, and events(get the picture?). This should be a no-brainer for EA to certify End of Reality. To not certify them is like saying no to $1,000,000 cash in exchange for a hand shake.

I have been using End of Reality servers for Counterstrike for about six months. All that I can say is that they seriously have really good servers. Their support is great, they are responsive, and the servers are fast as hell. EA, step it up and handle it.

EA should step it up, End of Reality is a true performance server provider, just what Bad Company 2 needs!

I've been playing Counter-Strike competitively for 10 years and have seen just about every server company come and go because of poor performance and not listening to their customers. End of Reality servers is different. I've been in constant communication with the owners of the company about our server and other gaming related aspects and they're always there to hear me out. Not only do they have superb customer service, but they have THE best CS:S servers I've ever played on, and I've been competing professionally in this game for quite a long time. You can trust these guys will put up the best quality Bad Company 2 servers and leave their customers content with great customer service and top of the line hardware backing their gameservers. It would be a good idea to allow them the certification to host EA gameservers.

End Of Reality servers are amazing. I have been using EoR servers for around 8 months and I honestly have no complaints. Adam and Robby are very nice and knowledgeable and prompt with their #1 customer service. Please give them a chance to show you what they can do.
