I just can't believe how many good boxers are in this game!

I mean...Foreman?! It's amazing to have him in the game. Has he ever even been in a FN/KOK series?

Arthur Abraham? YES! This guy is a good prospect, and it's great to have him in the game!

Hagler, Hearns...I mean come on this roster is loaded.

Emmanuel Augustus...The one boxer, who, had he not been in the game, I would never believe they could implement him. Time will tell on this one though weather they nailed it or not.

Cotto....I cant wait to knock fools out with Miguel.

Valero, Gamboa: these up and comers are amazing to watch on TV, and its great to be able to play as them.

Whitaker, man this is going to be one of my favorite fighters in this game. If he doesn't use D like he does in real life, I will become good at D with him myself.

There are just so many great fighters, and names it's awesome. And if it's true that they're releasing more through DLC( what is up with that thread) than that would even make things much better.

Ya this is a fantastic roster. I mean, Joe Calzaghe, Cotto, Hearns, Mosley, Mike Tyson, Foreman... this alone makes Round 3 look like crap.

Damn good roster, damn good. So versatile, offensive beasts like George Foreman all the way across the board to defensive virtuosos like Pernall Whitaker(I still remember seeing him in the gametrailers vid and his upper body movement satisfied me even though shown for a very short time)

And then everything in between.
Calzaghe, Hearns, Mosley.... really looking forward to, especially Hearns.

I think we got the shaft on B-Hop though... suspect it might have been on purpose, keep in mind EA can hold off on great fighters saving them for DLC to make some real bank even after the game's sales slow down.... one of my gripes about DLC, yeah it can give a game alot of longevity, but it cna also cheat people into purchases they might have gotten anyways... oh well, rather have it than not.

Man, this roster truly is bittersweet. I mean, we got more depth than any other Fight Night edition, probably the most depth seen since Knockout Kings. That being said, it could be vastly improved. I mean, there's a ton of guys left out. I recognize you can't get everyone in the game but there are some really strange omissions. For instance, why put Arturo Gatti in without Mickey Ward, a guy who was in Round 3? Why Tyson and Lennox Lewis without Holyfield, who was also in Round 3? No Hopkins either, a guy who was, yet again, in Round 3.
Plus there's a ton of guys that are musts for the game. Marciano, Joe Louis, Floyd Mayweather, maybe even the Klitschkos and de la Hoya (also in Round 3).

Yeah, I love having guys like Calzaghe and good recent boxers in here but nevertheless, some strange omissions. I'm not complaining about the roster because I love it and think it's fantastic and a massive improvement from Round 3 but it is a bit strange that some guys aren't in here.
