To the guy who was saying that stacking your team basically makes you a 9-year-old, what's wrong with taking advantage of good free agency years, adding depth, and just turning up the difficulty. Either way, even if you have a stacked line-up, if you set the difficulty right (well at least for me) you can still have even games.

With my Flames team, even with how stacked it looks (I also made a blockbuster trade: Hiller, Chipchura and a top prospect for Price and a low end prospect) I still lose my fair share of games, cuz I set up the difficulty so I don't score 6 goals a game and get shutouts like crazy.

Funny thing is Leland Irving is still my better goalie. Price is 89 with A potential though so why wouldn't I pick him up?

Edmonton Oilers - Beginning of Season 2. Won the Cup in the first season, but simmed the majority of it.

R. Nash(88 ) - A. Cogliano(84) - S. Gagner(84)
D. Penner(82) - B. Dubinsky(82) - A. Hemsky(87)
R. Potulny(77) - G. Brule(80) - B. Guerin(81)
E. Moreau(80) - R. Stone(77) - Z. Stortini(79)

M. Weber(80) - S. Souray(84)
B. Jackman(83) - T. Gilbert(81)
L. Smid(79) - M. Fistric(80)

P. Rinne(83)
D. Dubnyk(80)

Khabibulin retired after my first season so I had to find a new goalie.

Dumped Horcoff, Visnovsky and Staios over the off-season, in trades to free up salary.

Cogliano and Gagner only cost 3 mill each so I could keep them for a fairly low price to me.

So right now I've got about 4 million in free space.

Boston Bruins, 2010-2011.

Tanguay (84) - Bergeon (84) - Gaborik (88 )
A. Kostitsyn (83) - Savard (86) - Franzen (82)
Sturm (82) - Hamill (79) - Wheeler (81)
Kulemin (80) - Gillies (79) - (Random Draft) (79)

J. Johnson (86) - Regehr (89)
Weber (79) - Corvo (82)
McQuaid (76) - Hunwick (77)

Thomas (87)
Rask (82)

Tanguay, Rask, and Corvo were acquired from free agency, and the rest through trades. I have about a million left in cap space. Except for Franzen, I took this roster to the playoffs (lost to BUF in Round 2). I'm thinking of trading Sturm and/or Kulemin to free up space for prospects on the roster. The highest paid player is Gaborik, and he also has the longest contract. I had actually traded Rask early in the first season but picked him again.

Suck it? Stoll was originally drafted by Calgary and they didn't sign him so he was placed back into the draft where the following year Edmonton picked him up.

for the record thisd game is awesome. It felt like more of an update but its still a good game.

I use superstar settings with the ai and cpu difficulty half way. With injuries all the way up, and the Vancouver Canucks.

Created Cody Hodgson, little less than half way through the first season.

Traded Ehrhoff and couple D's for Brent Seabrook and 3rd, 4th.

Cody Franson for some prospects.

Hodgson, Sedins kick *. Keslers one of leading scorers. Seabrooks kicking *. Record is 21-8-6.

D Sedin, Hodgson, H Sedin
Grabner, Kesler, Bernier
Raymond, Wellwood, Burrows
Demitra, Johnson, Sammuleson

Mitchell, Seabrook
Bieksa, Edler
Schnieder, Salo

Luongo
Raycroft/ Schnieder

Trading for Price come the deadline. Then getting rid of Luongo to a team that can use him. For possibly a couple prospects.

This games sick. Next year I hope they work on the shooting/ passing. I always have a hard time setting up one timers. I try and get all of my goals without the cross crease. But after the ai scored two cross crease, I'll go for one in the third or something. Fun game though, been playing since 94, EA can only get better.

Calgary Flames 6th season

Lancet 87* - Turris 93 - Iginla 89 (C)
Roenick 85* - Pollock 87* - Coronel 83*
Tophy 81* - Finley 83* - Bois 80*
Nystrom 80 - Brandon Sutter 82 - Moss 80

Phaneuf 90 - Bouwmeester 88 (A)
Regehr 89 (A) - Pitkanen 87*
Tommernes 86 - Bertilsson 85

Kiprusoff 83
Adams 84*

*=Drafted player, not necassarily by me. Roenick was just drafted by Minnesota as a Franchise player, and they offered him to me for a 25 year old go nowhere center. I would complain about the trade logic if it didn't benefit me so damn much.
