its nothing, i'm just laughing because of how much everyone is over reacting about you saying holy bleepers. Before I just had "wow", but i just felt like keeping it going. All of this may be because of the prediction at the start of the thread that you were gonna loose your mind over this info, and you did kind of put Holy Bleepers in big bold LETTERS!!!, so yeah. You didn't offend anybody, its not a meme(yet), its just kinda funny. also i've been here since before the og demo, but my account has changed and I hadn't been posting for a while. Somehow though i managed to start this 8 page monster. And i've seen you on many other threads, so i know whats going on. Anyways its all good, and skate 3 is looking awesome, no worries.

so now what im wondering is if the hard mode will have more gravity and less floating, it could be done. didnt someone post a thread on here awhile ago claiming they saw some video of cuz and dyrdek testing the physics of the game or talking about it or something, so im hoping .
what im thinking about right now is that if we have to hold on the stick longer to ollie really high, will this mean that we can have more control over the height of our tricks, cause if we can, it might now be possible to roll up to a 9 stair rail going fast and hitting it 4-5 stairs into it !

Hopefully. And aswell finally we might not land 7 feet away from the last step when we ollie a 6 or 7 set at a decent speed. I really hope this hard mode delivers the goods.

put it like this...
if the max ollie height is harder to accomplish..
SOMETHING has been done to the physics....
im kinda jonzen on time right now..
me clay cman anders blah blah were all talkin about the time it takes to perform a kickflip...
if you have style A and normal a kick look "floaty" or some say "to tall"...
with hardcore mode im assuming the animation time length will be able to be altered because of the different ollie heights...
thats what im hoping..
but again i have no idea...
hopes...
and as for the 9 stair start at 4 down..
that works already...
i mini ollie all handrails with the left analog up pump...
works perfect....
things people forget about...
just how valuable the left analog pumping feature is...
-hitting up on the left analog to start a pump actually throws your small ollie out further than normal...
-by hitting up on the left analog before you push he bends his knees and does a stronger push...
i actually cant play without hitting up on the left analog for anything...
its become a feature that i cant live without...
visually it looks like a "fake early crouch" before you ollie...
but it really is setting the character up to ollie further up and out like he was in a qp....
i know for a fact its not coded that way..
another lovely glitch brought to you by BB...
but you should fiddle with it..
see what happens...

yeah definitely.
i actually have messed around with the left analog pump glitch, it doesnt work the way you said it does, but i believe you. the rail i do the best on is the wilshire replica in skate 1, the shorter one, i do 2 1/2 pushes and just somehow ollie or nollie etc at just the right time and i hit it pretty early, not anywhere near as realistic looking as i would like, but its gotten me by.

Shhhh!! You'll give away my secret!
OK, I will. First time ever, two techniques I use on almost everything.
Pull down right stick for full ollie height of whatever trick, timed late past the stairs a tad. A very small tad. As if you were doing a backtail baby popshove, about like that lateness.
While right stick is being pulled down (not held), I wobble the left stick to preload a bit of rotation. Like if you're going to do front tail (regs), you pull back on right stick, wobble right with left stick, then wobble left, then quick quick up on left stick to shoot out and downish, THEN pop.
That's my secret. Never said it before, won't say it again.
If the above is confusing, good. Less people using it the better...
