Im gonna disagree about 2 things. You should be able to pull DEs off the line before the snap. Peppers has been used in coverage many times in RL it's nothing new. This year especially because even if you try to pull a lineman after the snap the o-line will hold him. And as for the pauses, well people need to make adjustments and they need time to do it. Alot of a-holes won't give people enough time to make changes.

I'm just saying it can't be any excuses to EA had to many days to get this stuff right if it not just make sure u get it right next week.

I don't think we will ever see accurate rosters until they add a practice squad and implement game day inactives. They need to build the game to mirror the NFL and let the online players police themselves regarding player substitutions.

Peppers comes off the line in reality after the snap, fire zones. Not before the snap, If he was off the line before the snap he'd be playing LB, if he's playing LB put him at linebacker.

Why would someone need 5 pauses a half and 10 pauses a game? You can set your depth chart offline & online before the game, and you can set your audibles, and even if you did adjust your audibles would that take 10 pauses a game?

C'mon now. That's some bs people do to try to d/c glitch people. Call a timeout.

Peppers has been at LB in different hybrid formations. All I'm saying is that you should be careful what you ask. It's a user control so there's nothing really unfair about it. Just because people user DE to take away your seam route that you've been using all game doesn't mean you have the right to complain and take it away from people.

As for the pauses I agree with you for the most part and I'm glad that we can make pre game adjustments but * happens at times where you need those pauses. Something might come up in game or RL. There are * who won't give you the time of a day that's all I'm saying.

And I would like to see some better defensive AI in the next madden. If a guy is exploiting 1 play all game then the defense as a whole should become more and more aware of it and be able to sniff it out or get a jump on the play.

Speed and Madden,

Like it or not speed is the most important attribute on the game...don't believe me play the Raiders...the Raiders in Madden may be one of the worst teams rated on the game but with every player at the skill position running in the 90's on both offense and defense there VERY hard to beat if your dealing with a seasoned Madden player...

Now I have no problem with the Raiders players being that fast because we all no they draft for speed..but my question is how can this be fixed?

Now the speed rating on 2010 was wrong IMO...I mean the logic was way off base...you had safeties running slower then some LB'ers and DE's which is basically impossible...in a 3-4 scheme you had for some reason the inside LB'ers running faster then the OLB'ers which is almost NEVER the case...

At what point does common sense kick in and you say you know what we made a mistake on this thinking and fix it?

The eyeball test,

O.K.

For 6 months we've had our hands on the game...we've went through a full NFL season and some of us have thoroughly evaluated our teams and players performances based off the 2010 season...some players improved some players took a step back...

It was asked of the fans to post in these forums what we felt your favorite teams players ratings should be based on performance so that the players on the video game mirrored the actual player...

But for some reason the process of getting ratings fixed or adjusted became the joke of 2010...

From the beginning of the Madden season you had obvious broken ratings and they were immediately pointed out...look on page 1 of the Cowboys thread on A.Spencer as proof...at that point we wasn't asking that he receive an over all increase we were asking for adjustment to the way he was rated as he had not proven anything yet...(speed being the biggest issue/problem at the time)

If this was pointed out on page 1...why would it take 6 months to get this fixed? :shock and his speed still is not right compared to the player I've been watching)

Which brings me to the eyeball test...O.K. in Madden if you ran a play to Spencer's side before the last update it was a automatic you could get the edge 90% of the time...we had to play with our team like this for month's...but all year we watched Spencer play the run very well...then we had the speed issue where he was to slow to sack QB's...

Or our CB's in run Support they played the run well in real life...but in Madden they were rated the worst 2 starting CB's getting off the run block...yet both players made the Pro Bowl...

Back to the speed issue...both our starting Safeties run a 84...we have 2 LB'ers that run faster...then all year we've watched our safeties run stride for stride with some of the fastest WR'ers in the game...players rated in madden with 97-93 speed..yeah I know most safeties play 10 yards off the line...but in Madden if you line a 84 speed Safety 10 yards off the line and a 97 speed WR runs a fly route and the QB has the time to get the ball off your burnt...

All I'm saying is that some of us spent months and hours of our time and effort trying to help get our teams rosters adjusted right and it seemed to me like we were fought every step of the way instead of listen to and appreciated...it should of never been this way...if Donny had took our advice I'm willing to bet the rosters would of been fixed 3 month's ago and we could've moved on to the next issue...

HOPE WE NEVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER MADDEN ROSTER SEASON LIKE 2010 AS THIS WAS THE WORST YEAR I'VE EVER EXPERIENCE WHEN IT CAME TO DEALING WITH ROSTERS FOR MADDEN...

very good post and absolutely correct. The raiders, terrible team are often hard to beat because the team is soooo fast.

Too fast. I hate how in reality Chris Johnson gets beaten deep but on Madden this supposed 97 SPD he has makes it difficult, not to mention Asomugha is a 99 MCV 93 SPD, then they have a SS with a 93 SPD, so most teams can play man, blitz, and mix up zones to have this defense play elite when in reality they are one of the worst teams against the run and they get beaten by pass here and there. Then you have Lechler and Se-Bas so the kicking game favors them, then on offense they can cheese with McFadden, and the WR's with all this SPD, it's crazy.

Every year we all go through this Raiders stuff.

The solution to me is make them have SPD but bring down their ACC, BSH, & PUR ratings, that way they would be giving up the big play like they do in reality.

Just take a look at the Raiders BSH & PUR ratings when you get a chance.

Unreal.

The Raiders speed, acc agility should not get touched. Just because it's hard for you to play against them in Madden doesn't mean they're any slower. Honestly there are some players like Huff that should get an increase in speed.

The linebackers need to come down big time esp Morrison he's overrated.

And as always most of you are playing with better teams than Oakland. That means you should beat them as fast as Oakland is your players are better.

I dont want to see anybody unfairly rated and have my offline franchise rosters f'd up because some people have trouble game planning against speed.
