I think the problem lies here. NHL 2003-2007 all had completely re-done presentation every year. It was quite impressive actually, you can go back and look if you don't believe me. But since '08 basically, we've had the same presentation... or to better word it, not NEARLY as much of an upgrade year in and year out as we did in the previous gen. I'm not sure why this area has been so neglected by EA all of a sudden, but it seemingly used to be a top priority. New menu styles, new fonts, new overlays, new presentational features, new graphical broadcast designs.. it made every game in those aforementioned golden years of '03-'07 seem very fresh and exciting each year. Since '08, it's been too much of the same unfortunately...

The Penguins goldish color is off in the game. Its too greenish. Also, the Flyers is too dark of an orange. In real life its lighter.

I dont know where to start.
-Edmonton's blue on home is too light/faded
-Ottawa's red is faded
-Pittsburghs gold is green
-Many CHL teams have uniform issues
-Almost every arena is wrong
-No authentic intros
-The cutscenes are too short
-Goalie masks are poorly done
-Not enough player gear
-Many teams have no centre ice name (Red Deer Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I could add more, but there is so much!

Some suggestions on presentation:
- Need to correct the Home Team benches (i.e. Sabres Home Bench is on the wrong side)
- Goalie Masks
- Some Arena Banners
- Fans in the stands (Mostly guys, not enough women/kids)
- Mascots possibly?
- Different Play By Play/Color Commentary Announcers (Actual real-life Announcers for each NHL Home Team or National Announcers from NBC, CBC, VS., TSN, etc.)
(not that Gary Thorne & Bill Clement are bad, they can monotonous after a while. Maybe have Joe Beninati/Craig Laughlin; or Mike "Doc" Emrick/Eddie Olczyk; or even bring back CBC's Jim Hughson/Craig Simpson) (albeit it's probably tough enough to get a contract w/ multiple announcers; not sure how it would affect load times w/ games or game space either, just a thought).

I have 2 issues with presentation in the demo for NHL 12:

1) When a goal is scored, there is no cut scene of "celebrating." You can do a user celebration, but thats not enough. They had the cut scenes last year where all the players on the ice would get together and hug, high five, or just congratulate each other. They do not have that in the demo.

2) When a puck enters the net, it will either stay in the net, or "slingshot" back out. In real life, if someone takes a hard slapshot and it goes directly into the net, it will "slingshot" back out really fast. In the NHL 12 demo, this never happens, as the puck stays in the net regardless of how it entered.

The Panthers uniform numbers are way too small.

Thank you for updating Consol Energy Center! Now for next year, just get the seat color right (first two rows gold, skip one, next gold, skip two, next gold, skip three, next gold, etc. for the bottom section (every row below first LED ring). Definitely not a huge deal because sometimes you can't really even see the seats behind the fans, but it would be a nice touch of authenticity

This is minor, but disturbing.

Why is there an embossed/raised stitching of an Oilers logo on the Kings black hockey pants? I first noticed this in between game play when the players were shown sitting on the bench. I was using the Kings black primary home jersey, but I don't think it matters as long as the pants are black.

Also, Jonathan Quick looks nothing like Jonathan Quick. I think a little more time could be spent on his shimmering chrome mask and facial features... I mean, look at how much effort they put into making Luongo look sooo pretty, I thought I was shooting at Manon Rhéaume.

Double slapshot noise 90% of the time live and on replays.

The puck hitting the post also makes a double noise. This problem is aparrent for all of my EASHL team mates.

Not sure if this helps the DEVS or not, but when I was playing an EASHL club game today around 5:45pm mountain, there was a freeze for 3 seconds (I thought I was toast), but then the game went triple speed for 5 seconds and caught back up. Maybe this has something to do wtih the freezing. It's happened to me a few times this year and it's no my internet connection. I have a program that monitors any packet loss, and there was none during that time.

Blue Jackets come out from the wrong tunnel, sit at the wrong bench. Nothing major, just kind of annoying, but hopefully easily fixable.

The Kings wear the Oilers logo on their pants. lol

This is kind of a annoying problem... In the custom soundtrack some of the tracks aren't playing. For example I have a song selected in the home win game, but instead of that playing I have music playing in the intermission selection. Plus all the music I selected in the Hockey Ultimate Team section doesn't work at all. I have to have the information from a specific team and it plays those tracks instead.

There are a lot of issues with this feature.

Here's a vote for a fix to the errors contained in a fair number of the WHL uniforms (at least):

Kamloops white (sleeve numbers should be white/blue/orange, names OK)
Kamloops blue (white panels on jersey sides should be blue)
Everett (pants should be green)
Moose Jaw black (back+sleeve numbers should be red/white, names OK)
Regina blue (back+sleeve numbers should be red/blue/white)
Saskatoon white (sleeve numbers should be white/light blue, names OK)
Swift Current white (sleeve numbers should be white/blue/silver, names OK)

That's not including all the inaccurate jersey number and letter font styles.
Devs...I have the artwork necessary to fix all those inaccuracies as well. Just let me know!

Seriously...

Though I'd help out a bit more on the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (QMJHL) presentation problems when your welcomed to "Center 200" it says Center 2000 other than that the only problem for the Eagles is that it says "AEGLES" on the ice being from Cape Breton I hope this helps and gets fixed for future additions of NHL.
