Actually it seemed like more a...'hit detection' issue.

The sound was off to let the lead developer speak about the game.

i agrre with the fact that the physics should be down since its the round 4 engine but also at the same time u gotta look at it at diffrent angels as well.

EA is used to making boxing games and several sports games and etc etc. Mixed Martial Arts is a 1st for them and for them to use their boxing game engine on EA MMA and modify it for a MMA feel is actually more complex then it looks or sounds.

we have to remember that they have to incoporate ground game into the game as well as kicks which changes up the whole aspect of boxing. so im sure they are working on making it as real as it can get. and plus this is just only one persons opinion of how the physics look.

once we start hearin opinions like that from other authors that saw the game then thats when we know that the physics actually need work or once the demo comes out then we will know how it actually plays out.

i look at this on a more reasonable aspect of both sides of the people who think its bs that the physics arent down right especially since its the fnr4 engine but also i look at it as i explained above that the game is still in development and also since the game is alot more complex the making just another boxing game such as fighnight that is kind of one dimensional with just stand up instead of having other dimensions being implemented such as ground game and kicks.

and slams and attacks in the clinch and submisions. or diffrent kinds of aspects compared to fighting in a cage compared to a ring or even diffrences with fighting stances or styles as well. thats just how i think we should look at it as. who knows maybe its perfect the way it is or maybe it needs work or a minor touch up. we will never know untill we see longer footage or actually play the game.

but look at it on the bright side though if that is all he thinks needs work then everything else must be pretty damn good.

im just curoius of how styles will play out as well as fighting stances because that will totally effect how the physics play with strikes etc etc.

i have a feeling that people will be able to vitor belfort someone in this game just because of ive had something like that happen to me in fightnight. fightnight actually plays pretty fast so im sure this game will too or atleast i would hope so.

the only question i have for middle easy
is what else are u guys actually allowed to tell us about?

is there anything else that u can tell us that hasnt already been asked that ea wouldnt mind u telling us

becuase all other articles i read about ppl who saw the game as well said that they would say more but they dont want to see some lawyers knocking at their door for a case

Well we signed a confidentiality agreement to not talk about it for about a week. A lot of questions were asked and most were not answered.

I think I've told you guys everything I know about the game. If you have another question, feel free to ask it.

Was the gameplay real quick and agressive like undisputed, or was it slow and methodical like a real mma fight
