i mini ollie all handrails with the left analog up pump...
works perfect....

-hitting up on the left analog to start a pump actually throws your small ollie out further than normal...
-by hitting up on the left analog before you push he bends his knees and does a stronger push...

Shhhh!! You'll give away my secret!

OK, I will. First time ever, two techniques I use on almost everything.

Pull down right stick for full ollie height of whatever trick, timed late past the stairs a tad. A very small tad. As if you were doing a backtail baby popshove, about like that lateness.

While right stick is being pulled down (not held), I wobble the left stick to preload a bit of rotation. Like if you're going to do front tail (regs), you pull back on right stick, wobble right with left stick, then wobble left, then quick quick up on left stick to shoot out and downish, THEN pop.

That's my secret. Never said it before, won't say it again.

If the above is confusing, good. Less people using it the better...

This means I can use the miniramps (hopefully they put in a good one/good oneS) and not fly out if I go over 1 push, and not ollie 2 feet high into back tails etc...??

Ive been skating for 13 years, and ive always played these games. I was always pissed about tony hawk being so unrealistic, and skate even being somehwat unrealistic, and skate 2, being just... dumb lol. But i really didnt think they would EVER do something about the physics. I was always trying to replicate realism by pushing once, and only lightly popping. however, it never seemed to do the things i wanted it to do. This has me so effing excited!

The only problem now, is that i cant find anyone to buy skate 2 off me.. i have it on craigslist for 10 dollars.

Is there any reason why this thread needed to be bumped?
(maybe you just found it on google or something and wanted to post, in which case I could see how you might not notice the dates, and it is your first post and you just joined, so its possible )
There are tons of recent hardcore mode threads though, with videos, check 'em out.
