EA SPORTS kicks off NFL Training Camp Season with the Announcement of EA SPORTS Active NFL Training Camp for the Wii.

Part of the posting:
EA SPORTS Active NFL Training Camp includes over 70 drills and challenges designed to improve strength, power and conditioning, as well as reaction skills, agility and first step quickness, which are key areas NFL players focus on. Users can choose their favorite team, step into a stadium and train alongside their favorite players.

They have more details on their web page: www.easportsactive.com and on the EA Sports Active Facebook page.

Thanks for posting this. I got excited for a minute thinking they were releasing some new stuff for the current EA Sports Active, but it looks like it is made for 2.0 and will release in November. I'm ready for some new stuff now!!!

The other thing that caught my eye was the $99.95 price. I wonder if that will include the EA Sports Active 2.0 or if it's just an additional suite of exercises.

Is this game not coming out for the kinect? I don't understand that. If Active 2 is, why not training camp

From what I understand it is exlusive to the Wii at this time. I have not heard that it will be coming out on the other platforms.

Who can tell us a definite answer on getting NFL Training for Xbox or PS3? I was planning to get EA Active 2 for my PS3 so I'd have the option of getting new workouts. I also thought I might like the NFL Training in the future. If not, are the going to release NFL Training as a game only for the Wii? I don't need two sets of motion controllers and heart rate monitors.

One more vote for both XBOX and PS3!! I would have bought one for each of three sons (2 away @ college and 1 @ home) if available on the platforms they actually use to play EA games like Madden, etc.

From an EA official on the NFL Training Camp facebook page here:
http://www.facebook.com/NFLTrainingCamp

right now there are no plans to release NFL Training Camp on any gaming console besides the Wii. If you have a Wii, we hope you'll give it a try!

That is very disappointing. I might just return Active 2 (PS3) that I just picked up last night and go with My Fitness Coach. Seems highly rated even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. Yeah I could get Active 2 for the Wii but with the lack of upgradeable content and the fact that you have to use the controller still I don't think I want to deal with that.

I would like to know if a version of EA Sports NFL Training Camp will be released WITHOUT the total body tracking system. Having purchased (and am thoroughly enjoying) EA Sports Active 2, I have no need of a separate tracking system (much less a desire to pay the cost of inclusion).

Does EA have any intention of releasing NFL Training Camp as "disc only" (that is, without the total body tracking hardware)?

Thank you.

Got an EA SPORTS Active NFL Training Camp for christmas. Can not sync the monitors to my wii consoul. was told by customer service

"Andy: I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. This is a temporary issue and our engineers are already aware of this. They are working to resolve this as soon as possible. I would advise you to please wait for some time and then try again to login and play the game online. If the issue persists, you can contact us again. We will be happy to assist you."

" Andy: Sorry but in this case I would suggest you to please go on the official forums and post your problem there under the feedback section . Soon our game development team will respond you back for that problem"

So here i am. How can I get the monitors to sync to my WII? or is this just trash that must be returned as soon as possible?

It sounds like they were confused since your syncing problem has nothing to so with the on-line server.

Go to the feedback and support forum and follow the FAQ section to the letter. If you are still having problems you may have a defective unit and you will need to return it to your retailer for an exchange.

I have been using the game for 5 weeks now without any problems...so once you get going I think you will love it.

Any more questions start a new topic over on the Feedback and Support Forum and the EA development team does check in and help over there on a regular basis.

Good-luck!
