Battlefield 1943 for the PC will be release Friday January 1, 2010.
We have added 10 maps to the original 4 maps.
5 new soldier classes and a plethora of weapon customizations.
We have also added more vehicles and and a privy you can use in game

I wish....

Yeah.... 1943 is as good as dead, we have seen no media on it. If it was anywhere near close to even existing then we would at least get some PC screens or vids.

Still not released ...

Can someone tell me if pre-ordering BF1943 on PC will be rewarded with some items (aviator hats) in BF : Heroes (as it's been done with the console version)?

Even though most of us are going to play BF:BC2 (I have preordered it ages ago), we would still like to know what's going on with BF 1943.

My questions are simple:

Is this title still coming out for PC?
If so, could we get some indication of when? (please something better than "Q1 2010"...)

I hear that GordonVanDyke lost his job over it Well if he dident he should have , he was talkin $hit about the pc game release date and keeps pushing it back <now they say it should come out 1st quater of the year SAME time as bfbc2>

well to add my say about the game saying the frostbit has still not been tested for the pc LMAO he forgot the bfbc2 was also on the pc and in beta ,then saying he dont know how the pc would handle it .(TRI IT OUT FFS)

the PC loves it mine in fine and meny of other ppl's pc's are fine in fact they should have made it with bf2 , one of the bf2 mods Project Reality when that mod first came out you could not only blow away walls but also put wholes in the ground , level homes do what you could do in bfbc 1 . but it did have a lot of game play lagg so in later patchers they removed that and made it more like bf2 the game

DICE should have got the Project Reality mod teams to make bfbc2 and bf1943 they not only would have made the games on time but we all would have been playing bf1943 by now and maybe even be sick of it for when bfbc2 came out

p.s. GordonVanDyke i could do a better job talkin $hit about bf1943 and keeping the pc ppl up to date

sooo.. where is bf1943 vandyke? i pre-orderd mine and expected begining of 2010 latest.. i want my money back!

i preeordert give me my money back !!!!! its a shame for ea and for dice !!! i have every part of battlefield every expension pack but trust me 1943 and bc 2 was my last ea game !!!!!

. I pre-ordered the game for PC and was hoping for a June release. It seems apparent that EA has put us PC gamers on a back seat for the time being. I only wish my pre-order would show up in the EA store. When I check order status there is no record of my pre-order.

As far as I'm concerned its DEAD

along with my confidence with ea and dice.
I highly doubt I'll ever be giving them any of my money after this fiasco.

They cant or are afraid to even come on their website and give an update on it which makes it clear they dont care about much of anything and cant get it to work.

Even if this game turns out to be the best game ever in all history ever barring none, it doesnt justify the total lack of respect they have shown for towards the people that buy their products.

It's as if they forgot they have this website at all.

Yup, seems like the second BC2 was out, they completly gave up on 1943. The news ticker still says the BC2 demo is comming soon. Abandon'd!
