its nice to see EA looking like their doing something for the fans but the truth is the specification for r5 was done a lone time ago and it will only be minor changes to the overall final release product that will be done before release, tweaks like power/stamina ect. that being said, at least we got a new fight night to look forward to after the crash n burn of r4.

I like the wishlist so far, it helps precipitate a tone of professionalism and realism. However, there are some things concerning Manny Pacquiao and Mike Tyson I would like to bring up. I believed Pacquiao and Tyson should have had a far higher rating than an 89. Maybe a 93 at the least. They are too phenomenal to be given a B+. They deserve an A. Also with Pacquiao I would like to see an updated version of his weight. He now weighs anywhere from 145-147 fight night. Granted, that would still place him as a welterweight.

Other minor discrepancies such as: body morphing as you change weight classes. An easier accessibility to training games. Updated information, tattoos for created boxers. And whatever else, that comes up.

All in all Fight Night Round 4 is special. I can't wait till Round 5!

This was probably said but for the next Fight Night I'd like to see more of a natural fight. None of those jerky punch animations. Smoother "shoe shine effect" combinations instead of each punch thrown at a breath's length during an attempt of throwing a combination. Round 3 got on the right track with its gameplay animations with the exception of the parry system.

If they use the Round 3 engine and improve on it with more variety in punches (jab, strong jab, straight hand, lunging straight hand, strong hook, short quick hook, lunging hook, etc.) the gameplay would fly. I don't want to mention other company titles but NBA 2K's player animations were pretty realistic and they went for that "organic" feel to it.

It really bothers me when a boxer is at close range and throws his straight right hand cocking it all the way back only to entirely miss or leave himself wide open. Just watch Hopkins throw a right hand from his sneaky defensive stance in a real match or Roy jones' quick straight right or any boxer punch at close range; they punch from the shoulder not doing a full motion. And whats with the jab. Who tilts their whole torso back to throw a jab at close range?! Why is their head straight up and stiff in the air when they throw a jab or straight in the game?! Boxers most of the time in real life jab with their shoulders shrugged and their chin tucked in somewhat. Also not every hook and uppercut are looping shots. At close range there are quick lead hooks as does Pacquiao and Mayweather and at a distance there are lunging hooks like Frazier and David Tua. And please make the straight right/left hand a stiffer more effective shot with the feet planted and not gliding all over the place. I really hope you guys can make this happen.

have an idea for FNR5, and that's everyone boxer beat a specially via button press, Iron Mike Tyson left hook.., the other other ... it would be great if you had for each boxer another special move would make this proposal, such as yes tyson greatest left hook ... for he does in FNR4, the second of the new move could be a evasive move his ,button on pressure because tyson was the only escape was so unique and fast, I mean this in the clip in 50 second.

The authentic venues wouold be great. I wonder how come there isn't a big Arena in London to fight in. O@??? There should be matches in various countries with hometown advantages, especially in Eurpoe. Al U.S. boxers seem to think they are treated unfairly anywhere but the U.S. Additional outfits for boxers, certain trunks like from RD3. Examples are the dollar bill, kisses, hurricane, bulldog, sleepy time, tassles on shorts, shoes.Names running along side of trunks. Robe with hood on, elaborate ring entrances for fighters as they gain popularity from legacy, maybe from earning money. Ala RD3. InRD3 we fought for money, in RD4 we use a ranking system,can we combine he 2 in an effort to have guys that duck, 60-40 splits, Holiday bouts. I love when Cotto does his holiday bout and when Money Pretty Boy wuteva dressed in the flag for Cinco de Mayo. Maybe a decrasese in cuts or ratings after a good beating. Maybe not the same fighter. Different tourneys to enter or not, hiring of diff trainers.

Evander Holyfield,
Buster Douglas,
Oliver Mccall,
Floyd Mayweather Jr,
Oscar De La Hoya,
Prince Naseem Hamed,
Nigel Benn,
Chris Eubank,
Steve Collins,
Frank Bruno,

these guys are/were fantastic boxers in their time!! to create the ultamate boxing game you need all the top boxers, and definatly more british boxers like the last 5 in the list above, I was happy to see Mike tyson in fight night round 4, but 1 boxer is not going to make a difference! thats the problem with boxing and wrestling games they can never get the fighters right i.e with wwe they should make a classic game with the likes of wrestlers from 1988 to 1993/94 when it was at its prime! a lot of gamers feel this way but just dont express their views on forums because they think its a waste of time and that thier views will not be taken seriously!! I hope i can prove them wrong!!! So EA game developers, if u look at this forum, then I hope you take this into deep consideration!!!!
