But to answer your question, its a matter of if your team needs you or not. I don't exactly know how they tuned the "logic" behind it. I mean hell, EA could have said that just to please the masses.

BtT: The Problem was, I heard about the fact, that you must have an A or A+ evaluation avarage in all 4 Games. But there is no combinated feedback for all played games except die Position. There... I got a A+. The Point you talking about... I played for the Islanders as a Center and how I mentioned above, I was the forth best Center (with OVR of 75 - Next one got 73 OVR) oft the Franchise and they needet me in the NHL. I realy tried this more then one time with different Teams and never get placed in the NHL. It's kinda frustrating. I'm tired of playing like 30 Games in the AHL befor I can get back to the NHL. It kills every chances to be the Rookie of the Year and you can't try it in the next Year, because if you played more than 25 Games, you don't get the Rookie Status in the next Year.

BTW: When the Career starts, after the Draft... is it possible that the Game just throw out the "real" player in Line 3 to the AHL and don't think obout pushing him down to Line 4 and kick the player in Line 4 to the AHL to vacate a place for the BaP Player? Because in this 4 Games, they Put an 77 OVR Center in the AHL and let the OVR 73 Center in Line 4. Kind a wierd.

sweet, ive been able to score alot more goals now if you pass across the top of the crease alot of times the goalie will go to poke and miss and then i have a wide open net!

The other team dumps the puck into our zone, our CPU goalie goes out of the net to play it and then he lays down like he is stacking the pads and then he does a Hasek roll. He never did stop the puck and it almost cost us a goal. It was just insane.

this patch is awful! second year in a row the patch has killed the game....way to go i think im switching to the 2K series

Next time you make a patch, can you make it so that it makes the game more realistic?
Teammates in BeAGM have absolutely no tenacity to get the puck. I had a wide open net, sat there for 2 seconds waiting for my guy to pick up the puck that was literally an inch away from his stick, and he waited until the goalie was back in position. The puck wasn't bouncing or anything, so he had no excuse. Oh yeah, and CPU goalies are just ridiculous now. Now that I've hit the playoffs, it seems like my goalie's gotten weaker and the CPU goalie is dominating every game.
Oh yeah, and the interference by CPU needs to be tweaked heavily. I'll get a penalty for interference when I hit the guy .5 a second after he lets go of it, but I'll have a guy behind my net get hit 2 or 3 times after he's let go of the puck, which is about 3 or 4 seconds after he has. Seriously, THIS IS NOT REALISTIC. Oh, and the lift stick that slices through my guy's body and lifts my stick, yet even perfect timing and position on a lift stick for me wont always lift the CPUs stick is ALSO NOT REALISTIC.
Finally, the faceoffs in key situations are slanted heavily on the CPU. My best faceoff takers can't beat wingers or guys with terrible faceoffs about 90% of the time when it comes to PKs and penalty kills, and lose 100% of the ones with guys equal or better to their ability.

The game only needed minor tweaks before the patch, not a durastic change. At least for offline, not sure about online, but offline it was fine with minor issues.

wow. Just played my first game after the patch and a guy scored 3 exploit "new curve shot" goals for a hat trick.

well ea sure dropped the ball on this game and patch.the gameplay was much better be4 the patch,well maybe a few updates would have been suffice not doing a full overturn on gameplay like that have done.the stick lift is retarted like it was in o9,now u can get your stick lifted while skating for the puck in the corner the other d man comes beside u lifts your stick and you slow right down while they go and get the puck.or while your skating up the ice the defender lifts your stick while facing you and skates away like nuthing with the puck.last time i watched a real hockey game stick lifting is not even close to seeing every player trying and succeeding all game long its just not even close to semi realistic.if your lucky it should work maybe 1-5x a game not every attempt.also the bouncing pucks seem more like your playing pin ball,the retarted bounces never come to us always goes to the other team or when u get a good chance to pick it up it bounces off your stick and u never recover it.ALSO THE JUICING IS BACK is back i know of a few guys who are doing it and others trying it and they all see it still works in nhl 10 way to go ea dropped the ball again.the only way to stop the juicing is to set the attributes up the way fifa does theirs,you earn them and they automatically get added.

Is there a way to uninstall the patch and play without it? I'm on PS3.

And the passing still blows. The CPU can hit their player with a pass 50 feet away hard without ever missing meanwhile I can't hit a guy 5 feet away. Sick of watching them play tic tack toe in my zone with the puck when I can't make two simple passes. This is with passing manual off.

Stick lift is retarded an broken. too.

i dont understand/agree with why they took out the team management options for team strategies.. crash the net worked well for our style of play and since we only have 2-3 of us (friends, hence no 6v6 with ppl we dont know) we liked how it was workin out.. now its a pita since nhl teams are only overload or behind the net.. to those who say there is no diff, there is.. there is a biiiiig difference.. its noticeable, and frustrating...
