would it be too much to ask for the clock to actually stop everytime my player runs/or is hit out of bounds with the ball. too many times i have run out of bounds to try to stop the clock, but when i go to select my play the clock is still running.

and also fix who the computer changes u to when u want to switch players on defense. if a running back is about to pass one of my linebackers, wouldnt it b logical that i would want to switch to that linebacker not someone else like the safety who is 5 yards downfield

AMEN!!! HISTORICAL ROSTERS!! they have HOF player's currently but i would love to see like in madden 94 the rosters of these wonderfully classic players that MADE THE NFL WHAT IT IS TODAY (85 bears, 96 packers, etc)

A good example of a superstar mode is in FIFA 10. In this you dont start on the first team straight away you play with the reserves and play your way on to the first team. Also there are accomplishments which need to be done to raise stats. Anexample which could be used in madden for a mlb could be get 6 tackles in a game which gives tackling stats +4.

There are many other issues with superstar which i couldnt be bothered outlining at everyone can see them as they are obvious

Or they could just get rid of the POS Superstar mode that no one plays and create a half decent franchise mode that is accurate.

I actually like Superstar mode. It's a good idea derived from 2K5's helmet cam mode thing (I forget what its called), but under developed and hasn't reached it's potential. I do a lot of offline playing and will admit that it is lacking. and for the sake of the game if EA can make major improvements to the entire game or at least the right parts, they could scrap it until they can effectively create a consistently better product. For those of us that are Superstar mode players they can add that feature they have in NCAA 10 where you can lock yourself to a specific player. That way SS mode can sort of be involved in franchise mode.

I would like to add something to my last post a few pages back. EA should create a live field. There has been a lot of talk about how Madden plays in compartments and is set to their animations in those given compartments. A live field plus the things i've said on my last post and many things said by other pertaining to game play will bring Madden the credibility it has lacked for so long. Instead of just getting hit and gong to a set animation keep it live where you can break consecutive tackles when having the right timing and performing the right moves, or be able to hit a person that is already in a tackling animation.

1 - Older Stadiums. They have the old Dallas Cowboys stadium in this version, why not add the others. Steelers - Three Rivers Stadium, Redskins - RFK Stadium, Eagles - Veterans Stadium, etc. I think it would be a nice addition.

2 - Older teams. We have the older jerseys, how about adding some of the older teams. Superbowl teams, etc. I remember there being something like this on the old old Maddens.

With the new disc, I think it should be able to fit a couple more rosters and stadiums.

Redskins | Capitals | D.C United | Nationals | Wizards

the speed needs to change...chris johnson is by far the fastest player in the leauge and he should be much much faster than every body else ..im sick of getting caught from behind by players who really arent nearly as fast as he is

First of all I want a complex in depth game. Not some game a 5 year old can pick up and understand. They should be outside playing in the mud anyways.

MOST IMPORTANT

1. Blocking. Instead of just having run block or pass block with the option of sliding protection, it should instead be drawn up just like routes are. on a power play the guard should crash the nose down, the tackles should go up to the linebacker, the fullback should kick out the end and the pulling guard should turn the corner like a beast and look for the first thing to destroy. That's the premise anyways. Seeing double teams would also be another cool thing, especially if it was incorporated so that if one guy had him fine the other would release onto the linebackers.

2. Match-ups. There used to be a feature where you could put a certain corner to cover a certain receiver during the game. I wish this would be brought back because if the team has a great receiver and then average after that, I would rather but my decent corner on the average guy and keep a safety over top of the great receiver. Maybe even creating a feature for safeties to always be preset to shade deep coverage toward a selected receiver. Two separate options, covering man for corners, safeties, and linebackers. and then shade coverages for safeties.

3. Make the pro-tak system better. If I have 5 guys piled on one running back, no matter where they are around him, he should be either pushed, or pulled backwards... never should he get 3 extra yards just because my d-lineman come from behind.

4. Sideline catches. What happened to these. The receivers could care less about the sideline in this game. I would rather have a guy make a tip toe catch a yard or two inside the sideline and fall over than run out of bounds like he has no awareness of where he is on the field.

5. More tackles. I see the same tackle constantly.

6. If a quarterback gets hit, I like that he throws a crappy ball but does it always have to go straight up so every d-lineman gets a chance at it? Of course some will go up but more than a few times the ball should just go straight into the dirt.

7. I realize each player has a certain pursuit angle rating, and I haven't really decided whether it's because they have a lower rating or because the pursuit angles are just slightly off, but it seems to be the latter. It's not a terrible problem but it tends to come into play on kickoffs. If I have anybody over about 93 speed than I can return about 10 kicks for touchdowns in a season on All-Madden. Also, it seems as every time once I receive the ball, everybody is in position to pancake their guy, and they usually do. Fix kickoffs basically.

8. Either make it so I can skip the cut scenes or get rid of them all together. Same with the pregame show and halftime show. I do not care. It's the same exact thing every week. It was cool the first time. I already watched the highlights right after they happened with that nifty thing you created back in the day called instant replay. And the whole measuring the down thing... just stop. please. I beg of you.

WOULD BE AWESOME IF YOU INCLUDED

9. Pre-season and during the season progression. I'm not asking for a player to progress even 3 points during a four week span. If my running back pulls off 4 100+ yard games though I feel he should be rewarded. Have progression at the end of the preseason, and then after weeks 4, 8, 12, and 17. It seems like during the season the type or ratings that would increase are things like awareness, and technique type stuff, where as in the off-season the biggest increases should be in strength, agility, speed, and things that would normally be addressed during the off-season. Not to say the other attributes wouldn't increase at all. Just not as much. Think Miles Austin for example, nobody to start the year, probably not even 70 overall, now at the end of the year he's an 84 or 86. I think having drafted players or such having the same type of effects if they have great games.

10. More in depth scouting. I love the scouting feature because I can finally draft good players for once in Madden. I think there should be a feature though so I can find out things I want to find. Maybe a total points system and each attribute has a point amount. For example, a lineman's pass block rating could be 5 points and his injury be 1 point. You'd need an option for the computer to spend up the rest of your points or do the whole thing itself. It could get tiring.

11. If I'm the Texans and a receiver comes across the middle, if I big hit him... He should NOT be able to catch it every time, All-Madden or less. I realize it's supposed to be more difficult but no names are catching the ball and making Ryans miss. I didn't know that was possible. Catch some, if they have great CIT let them catch it 95% of the time. But make it a little more realistic.

12. Stats... I'm 6 games into the season and Micheal Turner has 1000+ yards. 700-800 yards I can understand. Chris Johnson's come around every so often and has 100+ yard games one after another after another. But most don't.

13. Just get rid of Superstar mode unless you plan on adding to it and making it better. My thinking is ditch it for now though, get focused on perfecting the game play and then bring it back in a year or two. Spend your time on better things instead of spending that time on something that is so garbage nobody is going to play it anyways.

14. While you're at it throw away create-a-team. If I want to play with fake teams I'll go buy a game with fake teams seeing as how every other game has to use fake teams. Maybe there are some people out there that like this feature, but it seems like another thing that just takes time away from making the actual game better. I want a better football game, not a showy game with lots of extra features like putting cup holders in my stadium.

I still enjoy playing this game. I just wish you would fix some of the major issues. These do seem like reoccurring themes too.

i like create a team but if you do fantasy to pick this team make it so that the players you pick are taken OFF their teams so theres not two of each player on ur team in the league. i had to go and change all their names so it wasnt stupid

ummmmm is it me or ever since madden 05 all of these games have just gotten worse? I mean in madden 05 when you made a created team called the knights... the commentators actually said the knights, not "the visiting team". and cpu teams would actually trade players in franchise mode... I've had this game since the day it came out AND HAVE YET TO SEE ANY TRADES, the only thing I've seen is "(some players name) has skipped practice to pursue other oppurtunities" WTF is that supposed to mean... this game is pretty unrealistic, why don't you just make the game like madden 05 just bump up the graphics and animations...

what this game really needs is player breakdown. players should get tired as the season goes. or not get tired. example look at bush. exploded in the playoffs because he was much more rested then the other guys. it happens all the time in the nfl. backups bursting on the scene late into the season because they are resting while the other guys are taking punishment. there would also need to be another attribute. durability - the ability to recover stamina each week. guys with low durability not only will get injured more but would be broke by the time week 15 rolls around. if this was a factor, we would be forced to use more than one back during a game. we couldn't rush our guys 30 times a game every game and expect the player to be at full strength the next week. it would also make use of bye weeks. and make striving for a first round bye matter. it would allow players to recover.

if ea does add this, please don't combine injury and durability. some guys just have a knack of getting injured but they are not prone to running out of gas at the end of the season. does that make sense? a player that breaks down late in the season has a better chance of getting injured but that should still work in conjunction with the actual injury rating.

i hope my ramblings make sense. if not, let me know and i will clarify.

EA, if you are listening, what we really want is the game to be more realistic. we can do without features like ultimate team as long as the game is realistic. i know you guys like to focus on online play. it's the wave of the future. but there are still many people, like myself, that wants a bad * franchise mode. you really should have a team of guys dedicated solely to improving franchise. well, mabee you do. i don't work there. but it just needs to be better.

ability to edit schedules in franchise, meaning being able to switch games around and change some of the prime time games. I hate it when your schedule says something like this
Week 5 vs Rams
Week 6 BYE
Week 7 @ Rams
They could make the schedule creator better or just allow us to change the schedules our selves during the off season. We would also be able to schedule our own thursday night games and have the superbowl winner actually play on thursday night opener. This would be an awesome feature for madden 11 and would make the game much more authentic being able to play your best games on primetime and no more playing your divison rivals twice in three weeks.

You know I really enjoyed the newspaper articles and the emails from assistant coaches and players from madden 09 for the Wii... I really like this game but it just keeps getting more and more boring, it's like all you do every year is update the rosters......

1) Weather does need to play a bigger factor like heavey rain u should see the feild get absolutly torn up and muddy and not always have the same slipping animation. Also, players should get tired quicker in the heat.

2) Please add a lot more catches b/c im sik of seeing them doing the same thing same goes for tackling. A new physics engine would solve all of this...... and please have more than 1 diving catch animation like seriously.

3) Historic teams from the past, i would love if they had these as they did in the old maddens. Along with every hall of Famer not just certain ones.

4) AI that isnt retarded

5) Signiture players doing things that only they are known for... FITZ going up and getting the ball, Revis making perfect breaks on the ball, Ray lewis reading the snap count perfectly near the end of the game

6) In franchise mode have a prospects game or run players through certain tests

7) Different commentators b/c cris collinsworth puts me to sleep. And announcers that show enthusiasm when a big play happens.

Practice mode in franchise so you can test out plays with new players u may get.

9) Historic games with the old roster...Like the Immaculate reception game, the drive, the music city miracle, the catch, i would love to play in these games.

10) a stat like break away speed whcih certain players had like terrell davis or jerry rice where they weren't always the fastest but when they hit the open feild nobody was gunna catch them from behind.

11) I would like to see this the most... BROKEN ARM TACKLES where defenders try and bring the ballcarrier down by sticking out an arm but the carrier just shrugs it off like in realllllll FOOTBALL.
