HOW-TO: Linking Web and Console Accounts

Hello,

Let me explain my problem, my game face can not be generated on fifa 10.

My psn id is: B4rByX

My email address in Psn : pingpongalan@hotmail.fr

This bothers me because I'm stuck for the trophy please help me and also my game face is created on Eastport football but I can not contact my pc and my playstation 3, thank you for your answer .

can you clarify what the exact problem is?

What does the fifa10 game tells you, have you tried downloading Game Face on your VP character there?
Also, what do you mean by "cannot contact my pc and ps3"?

On fifa 10 it says it can not find the game face I think it's a problem email address on the psn and easportfootball, that's why the PC and PS3 are not synchronized so it 'is normal can not find the game face but I do not know how

You will need to link your console account with your web account for the game to know where to download your game face files from - here is more info on how to link accounts:

Today was the first time for me using the 3d rendering. It worked flawlessy I must say. My account are linked as I can access my former Wii information as well. Problem I'm having now is uploading my 3d to be able to use on my PS3. I can't seem to find that info anywhere on these forums or pages. Maybe I'm not looking in the correct places. I don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Let me clarify. I'm under the impression that the 3d rendering will be able to be played by me. If that is not true then I guess I don't have a problem seeing that I can access all of my new and older photos for rendering. Thing is the game doesn't render anywhere near the picture the website makes and that's sort of a form of false advertisement because the website is plastered with things saying play as yourself with the 3d rendering.

I am trying to get my photo game face linked with my Playstation 3 Tiger Woods 2012 The Masters game, and I used to have Xbox as my only persona. When I try to add a persona, it doesn't give me any console options to add, but everything else shows up. Any help?

EA servers and customer service is seriously the worst service I've ever gotten over such a corporation. I tried to set-up my console persona and get my battle feed for battlefield 3 up an running all night. I can honestly say, I'm planning to return my copy of battlefield 3 and most likely will not be a customer of Electronic Arts Inc. if such a simple task is made this extremely complicated and ignored by employees.

umm this doesn't work where it says add persona i log in and notting shows up

It's probably best that we send you over to the experts in account login and persona linking for this one.

There should be links in there as well to contact a support rep directly who is very familiar with account linking.

This is really good feedback for us to hear, and I really thank you for taking the time to share it. One of the things we are focused on right now at EA is improving the entire account process because of the very things you mentioned.

It would be a shame for you to miss out on Battlefield 3 (an amazing game!) because of these problems, so I hope that you were able to get through them.

Ok, this is what has happened. I bought fifa back in september when it came out and straight away i set up my gamerface on the EA website. Created the gamerface as it tells you and saved it. Logged out and back in and it was still there on the website ready to be used. But then when i try to download it on the Xbox it says "There is not Game Face to Download. Please go to the EA website and create one. This has been done. When I first raised this the person asked me to clear the cache and remove teh saves i had and try again which i did and it still did not work. I then got told that he would escalate the issue to second line support back in september but have not heard anything since. I have since stopped playing on Fifa because it is more realistic to have in your face in the game and i enjoy this so until i have the face set up i didnt want to play it, so because of this you have wasted my money as i havnt played it.

Yesterday 19/1/2012 i began a new chat with an agent who asked me to reset the gamerface and try creating it again, try a different browser, try a different picture and try a different laptop, each step i tried to download the face and it still did not work. The person i was on the chat with was very confused with this and didnt have much more he could do. I have since been trying a few different things to see where the area lies. I Logged into my xbox using my cousins account and then downloaded the game face and it worked. I then created a new account and new ea account and used the same picture i had been trying for my own account and it worked with the new account. The thing is i have all my accomplishments on my current account and also have the ultimate team and online pass linked to my current account and this can only be redeemed once, so therefore i dont want to have to use a new profile. I think there must be an issue with my ea account as i was able to download the game face on two differnt accounts on my xbox. The issue must be with my Xbox account , Ea Account or the Ea server. I tried to create a new hotmail and create a new Ea account and then change the email address on my account to the one i just created but it just kept saying my details could not be updated. Please can this be looked into as it has wasted a lot of my time trying to fix it and it has made me waste my money buying a game which i cannot use all the functionality off it

It sounds like you have been having a very difficult time, indeed.

The problem, as you have surmised, revolves around the relationship between your EA/Origin account and your XBoxLive account. It sounds to me that you now have a few EA accounts tied to a few email addresses, so this may take a little bit of unraveling to get to the bottom of, but I believe we can do it.

It is very likely that your Xbox account and your original EA account may not be linked to each other correctly.

If you log into your Player Hub at http://www.easports.com/player-hub/ and click the Change + button next to your username, you should be able to see any Xbox Live or PS3 accounts link to that username.

Do you see the correct Xbox Live account linked to the correct username in the Player Hub?

I've been having the same problems as preshous but my game face won't even work for the 360 either. I've tried numerous times with EA Support but they don't seem to have any idea what's causing it. The only thing I haven't tried is creating a new EA account but I really shouldn't have to do this!
