Im dual screening my set up next week, after reading this, do i have to disable one screen before playing then?
Im running an i7, with a GTX560 if that helps.

Try updating the directx drivers, sound and video issues are most common related to old direct x drivers/conflicts. Im assuming you all are running with the latest version of drivers for your video cards? If not, then update those too. When the screen turns black, can you still alt+tab out to windows? Do you hear the "nfs world sound?"

Having the black screen issue as well...
I have no sound though. The game launches and doesn't crash, but I get nothing but a black screen. System is more than powerful enough to max out MW3, Crysis 2 etc... All DX/Visual C/.NET are up to date as well as all drivers. I have tried completely wiping and reinstalling to no avail. I really enjoyed the game before this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Fresh XP Pro install, still nothing...
