xbox.sk88z wrote:Appreciate the comments. In my experience, leaving things to a vote becomes a popularity contest and I'm not into that. I know some of you are aware, but for those that are not, there are many people that just come here to get information, lurk, and don't make a lot of posts. For those that took the time to reiterate issues on this post, it's not really the place for it, however, points are noted as they have been with numerous other threads already started.

Someone hit the nail right on the head in that we need to allow things to not become personal. The moment someone decides they have an issue with what someone has posted and begins to name call and bash their opinion, then it no longer becomes about the topic at hand and that, I feel, we call all use a little less of.

And for those of you that don't think you're being heard, shake your head. The developers are constantly lurking these forums, some more than others. We know that sometimes if feels like progress isn't being made, however, we're talking about a lot of different moving parts going on and the team has an extremely tight balancing act when it comes to managing resources between the two titles.

Again, let's all take some breaths before things get personal or heated in debates. I'll say it again and it's about respect. Respect for the community, respect for all members, and respect of everyone's points of views.

I challenge you guys to do one thing and that is, if you're mad, don't post. If we can start with that, I'll bet this place will take a few steps towards being a much more positive community.

AGREED, also check your latest email.

I have checked now - sorry I hadn't looked earlier.

Thanks,

I havent posted in a while, because I've really been workin my a' the f' off at work, but now that the kids are in school again I think I can start winning again, and posting somewhat again, I think round 4 was great, as well as online, there were plenty of times I'd be winning and get the disconnect, oh well I'd say because I could turn the game off and focus more on my family, or even if I got a BS loss to a disconnect I still really didn't care, because there are several top things I could be doing with my time, this game is by far my favorite and online is sweet too, I bought it from day one as with every fight night and truely beleive the series is getting better every year, I fully trust the fight night team.
If I could say one thing about fight night is their forums, too many cry babies, if they could filter out the mass majority of posts slamming the game and or company that'd be great, because I really like talking about upcoming fights and strategies fighters employ in real life and in the game, when I see a post slamming everything about the game up to EA itself, it bores me, I would like just one Punisher of moderators to give these guys and or girls, a stern warning that if your gonna b' and complain, oh yeah and "bump" your b'n and complainin you can go play kick the can when your angry with your fight night experience, sorta like "you can either like it or love it"-t-rock mentality, but alas EA is far more smarter than me and will not only listen to the cry babys but make a game tailored to them, therefore EA you get my respect and your games are top notch. thanks and ill be on the list to buy fight night champions day one.

my 10 cents:
and I played i played over a thousand games online so I know a little bit about the game.

improve clinch - for example punching in the clinch should be in the game

take points away for clinching too much instead of making clinch weak.

Also, penalize people for running.
I don't how many fights I won by running lol, but I also lost a lot when another guy would just walk backwards in FN4 most of the time you have advantage when you are on the back foot in real boxing you can get DQed for this unless your promoter's name is Don King.

Hyper punches are a glitch too, not because they are unstoppable, but because they look unrealistic.

Stop this Super Ali nonsense - Ali is so much better then the rest of the heavyweights that it ruins balance.

Raise height limit - it would be fun to play with Valuev against Toney.

Also what needs to be addressed is The Game Face why are people who own Apple Computers neglected and do not have the option to make a game face for our fighters. Make the Mac/Apple compatible with the EA Sports site. This should have been done from the get go!

Another idea I just had. Make Fight Night HBO where you can watch top players fight or people can join fights as spectators. Or at least show highlights or KOes. Then FNC will be like an actual sport and not just another video game.

In Legacy mode on existing or created boxer add some cutscenes on the boxer and give options to where people could see a little history on the boxer, kind of like a campaign character on a game but it could be something small, like weigh ins and taunts before a fight and Rivalry and belt fights spice it up a bit, like PPV event, so people can get a feel of the lime light of boxing and can be more into there boxer by having there very own storyline, nothing big but something would be nice.Don't get rid of owc mode it has a lot of potential but should be tweeked a little and If you are a title holder you should have to make certain amount of title defenses daily or everyother day so people can atleast get the chance too a title shot and not see only the same small group that keep it amongst themselves, everyone that purchase and plays the game deserves a shot even if they lose everytime....I think that the body shots are not effective enough. Online should be better moderated to promote better fairplay while gaming and making sure exploits can be patched and gameplay can be updated.

We've been telling them things like this for a while now but it's like they don't listen. Lion put it best with his post on the first page.

Not to be disrespectful but it seems the staff comes out of the cave when a game is about to be released to kinda act like they care and they're listening BUT once they get the money they go back into their caves and disappear. That's why i'll be extra hesitant when it comes to purchasing Champion.

Hi sk88z,

1. From the screenshots , i am seeing cuts and blood all over the place . This i dont like because it looks like the game is approaching arcady status and not SIM . You dont really see that much blood all over the face in majority of the fights. I guess a few pics i should not judge.

2. No disrespect to any of the testers here that can play the game but is it possible we get the demo a lot earlier from release date or can the TOP fighters from last fight night TEST the game and you watch closely because they will find the exploits that maybe the testers that are chosen so far will not .

3. Gameplay -- When your upperbody leans one way , can you move your feet at the same time because last fight night you couldnt and we were stuck at one spot until we stop leaning.

Any chance the actually devs might get off their backsides and, you know, talk to us?

We paid them for this game, I don't think some explanation as to why it's such a huge mess and when it's going to be fixed is too much to expect.

Yea you know... problems like the OWC/H2H match making thats broken on your end... ive got 4 hours of tech chat logs too prove That it is without a doubt something you guys did wrong on your end wether its programming or put a zero in the wrong spot....

So yea... how about a simple response... dont need an exact date... just say hey... the freezing and owc/h2h match making bug patch will be out in 6 months... 3 weeks or whatever....

We really arent asking for alot here folks.... Alls i ask for is you tackle the game-breaking/system ruining bugs before you worry about stamina adjustments or putting more boxers in the game.... but then again asking you guys too Fix your Broken game could be asking alot...

(sorry for bad english)

To devellopers, hi everyone and thanks for making Fight Night Champion an awesome experience. As a huge fan (1200 fight in FNR3, 400 in FRN4 and 250 in FNC) i can say i dont really know how i would improve FNC gameplay at this point. It's awesome.

But...what the serie need is defenitively a merit system. A merit system that give you more point for a win over Muhammed Ali whit Chris Arreola for example. A merit system so that you wouldnt have add boxers like Eddie Chambers, Chris Arreola, butterbean and Tommy morrison in the game for nothing. In 250 fight i never fought those boxers. You guys should give ppl a reason to take inferior boxers.

Back in the xbox 360 early days the game Dead or Alive 4 use a global statitics that give the % of use for every character and so in individual country. You could see that Ryu Hayabusa was the preferred charecter by 85% and the drunken fighter by like 1%. Just looking at that statistic was fun and it would be top notch if a merit system could be base on that in FNC.
