I have had this problem since I got the game about 6 months ago... For a while if Id get disconnected I could stay logged in and reconnect and would be fine after that BUT now I continue to get disconnected from server after server...
By the looks of things EA and DICE just dont seem to give a * cause they would have had this SIMPLE issue fixed allready.... Thx for nothing and your welcome for my 50 bucks... Thieves I say...

The real issue here is the total failier of EA to support their software - Failier to TEST their software PRIOR to general release - Failier to support and help the PAYING CUSTOMER.

All EA Games and DICE have done is try to compete with Modern Warfare buy releasing too early with a game that is so full of bugs you could call it a hive!

I search all commands to fix the "bfbc2" , From aweek i cant connect to EA SERVER , But Now i Solve it and i will help u guys to fix the problem .

go > Start > All Programs > Accessories > right-click Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator".

i have the same exact problem, but with my Playstation 3(PS3) i have full internet connection and have a NAT type 2. I am so sick of this, i should've gotten Modern Warfare 2. I hadn't been able to play a single online game in the past week and half.

just Creat DWORD and rename it TcpTimedWaitDelay and put 30

I've forwarded all ports, I've changed the registry... Nothing! No change.

I simply have no idea what else to do...

I've got a new one for you. My girlfriend and I both have copies of BC2. Hers was purchased through steam, mine is the hard copy. We can't join the same server and play together. We can both play at the same time on seperate servers, but when we try and connect to the same server the game says "Check your connection".

We have 2 seperate CD keys, and every other game works fine... Any clue?

I was one of you can't find any BFBC2 servers for 2 weeks, I'm so mad and very upset just like you but 1 day I found out gameservers.com, from there I found a lot of servers but you have to ... fill up the application, waiting for respond, consider, then member........download Teamspeak/Ventilo >>> Disappointed!

I started to take their server 's name then type in the Search box (your right hand side, below favorites tab/....tab/....tab) , it works! holy cow, can you image how happy Im, but have to type in for each name in order to get more, I did find a few more, I's tired so I typed in HR (don't ask me what' mean, lol) I pop up tons of them, just like when you are in Google search! I typed in HC (hardcore, cam of, map off, 3d off , every thing off) it pop up tons of them again, wow, my life now it filled with full of BFBC2 lol, Can you do that? Sure! Enjoy!

you can add theses servers to your favorites folders if you like them

If you get KICK OUT OR LOST CONNECTION FROM EA/DICE REMOVE THE Punkbuster and delete the folder then install again it will fix the problem 100%!

Are you both in a LAN using the same internet connection?

it's a internet connection so you have to restart your computers to take effect

yes, but it doesnt cause problems in any other game... including all the battlfield series.

Restart ur computer and ur router ..

Did that... didn't help.

I've updated pb, I have used two different firewalls without router, router without software firewall, I've formatted my PC in the meantime and nothing has made a difference.

I talked with the EA guys and they couldn't help me either. So I have simply no idea.

Somehow I can't think of anything else to do on my end of the line.

I'm having this problem and it is really annoying me. I payed a fair chunk of money for this game, thinking that it would be worth every cent. But of course it wasn't. First, the patch downloader didn't work, so I had to download and install it manually with a link that Kalms posted. No biggy, only took 40 minutes, and then I could actually play!

But to my horror, it was only the single player. I always get the "Failed to connect to EA online"
I didn't buy this game for some silly message patronizing me when instead I should just click play now and it should do just that .

On the cover, it says defining online warfare. Well, if error messages is what you think online warfare means, then you have a pretty warped look on those terms.

I know that you've probably been under a lot of pressure lately about this issue, but please think. This is the main reason why people torrent their games. They are willing to pay the right price for a game, but if the game is as glitched out as this, then paying for it just isn't worth the risk.

Don't worry, you haven't lost a consumer in me. I will still play your games, but instead I will get them from a little place called the pirates bay.
