Allow me to quote the greatest movie of all time.

ANDY (ME): That there are things in this world not carved out of gray stone. That there's a small place inside of us they can never lock away, and that place is called hope.

RED (YOU): Hope is a dangerous thing. Drive a man insane.

FF to end of movie

RED (?): I find I am so excited I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it is the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain... I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope.

See I have that Andy mentality. There is nothing wrong with hoping for something. I have free time at the computer (work primarily from home), so typing up a wish list or a feature idea, is not a big thing.

You are the type of mentality that EA Corporate loves. Pretty much given up that TW will ever amount to something truly great but will still shell out the money each year. Their history with the game can do that to a person. The Shawshank analogy is fitting. You stay in prison long enough you kinda give up hope, like Red did.

The problem is the community get's lazy, we go through a period of development for the next edition where nothing is said between the devs and the fans. By the time we see any interaction, the game decisions have already been made and implemented. I guess I am trying to push the envelope here (with this and the wish list thread) to get more communication. Is that wrong? Does your reply in this thread really help things? Gotta say no on that one. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

I am the customer, who helps pay the salaries of the people making these games. I sure hope they listen to us.
