WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW that just bursted my buble since BAGM is the main mode in play  idiots. the same thing was in the game last year but with just goalies.... this just makes me want to scream WTF!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

Well, when the game mode that you mainly play that has had major additions to it, is now basically wrecked, ya people will be angry with it. Especially when it's something as obvious as stars being left in the minors.

Patches didn't fix it last year.
This year has been very different so far, so maybe change is around the horizon.

These are not just minor flaws for GM fans. A lot of these players play GM mode for authenticity but when the basic logic and stats are completely flawed it makes the whole mode void and completely useless. If this was actually the case, why even bother putting the mode in the game in the first place? These are issues that could be acknowledged in a matter of minutes in game testing and should be easily taken care of.
We'll see. Hopefully EA patches this. I'm not even sure if this is just consequences of simming or what so I don't really know what to think. I usually play my games.

I seem to remember star players being left in the minors for whole seasons in NHL 10. usually the second season, certain times, I remember Jordan Staal, Daniel Briere, Steve Mason spending the whole year in the AHL, It made me mad, but I sort of ignored it, i think it must be because the cap, and EA's stupid one-way-contract-waiver rule, so the teams who had significant tun over, would end up with a player in the minors in the summer and never call him up. Maybe if injuries were on so there was roster changes...

I posted in the other thread on this.
I'm willing to bet the whole issue is because the Pre-season extends past the September 30th Waiver wire deadline. The AI sets their line ups to test young players prior to the 30th, are forced to fill their AHL lines with established stars and once the 30th passes, those players are going to get stuck in the minors becuase the AI is not dumb enough (HA!) to put a star on re-entry waivers.
