Nope it has already been confirmed that EA will not make another Godfather game. I have to find the link again to confirm it.

i would love to go to italy in a new gf3 game that would be cool
but i would also like to be able to kill anothers familys leader some were diffrent not all ways in the gq

like on a roof shoot him through the head then u could see a clip of him/her falling down a 50 feet high buiding

that is wrong iv been on the offcial web sitre the ea web site they say they will do a new one but they wont start making ideas till next year

infact i think they're will be as in the godfather 3 movie vicent masonelli sonny's son turned on a guy that michael corleone set to have his own family with michael corleone about to pass the reins some of the familys in sicily wanted to assasinate michael to get to him they had to kill Don Tommasino and michael wanted revenge to me its going to be a whole new area of new missions to take on the the 5 families including the other family that killed michael corleone's daughter at the end

There is a possibility to make a third Godfather game. Chances arent very high because the third Godfather movie was mainly based off of financial business and running a company. Though, like the second Godfather game, it's possible to veer of the main story and have a new underboss character in the third game. Now, for those of you with ideas for the third game, remember that the Godfather movies and games do have historical information about religion and Italian history. A few things I would like to point out about what should (and should not) be in the third Godfather game.

#1: Gender Selection: Likely chance is that there will not be a choice to be a girl because based off of religious history, man was head of the family so get that thought out of yor head. The Godfather games were supposed to mimic some of the movie. Remember kids, this isn't Saint's Row.

#2: The Don's View: Great for the second game and I would recommend for it to stay in the third game (if there will be one). But add a little more perception into it, make it a little more graphic like the "Sim City" series of games do.

#3: Bulletproof Vests: They should always be worn on the inside or under the clothes. Some people (me personally) like to have their character walking around with a suit. The bulletproof vest destroys the look.

#4: Bigger Ammo Clips: People don't walk around with ammo rings around thier waist. Especially mobsters. EA should make guns have (litterally) a bigger ammo clip.

#5: Graphics: The graphics in the second game were great, though I've seen better. EA is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) video game developing companies. Add more detail into the people. The facial expressions of the Godfather II video game maybe some of the best I've ever seen. But put some more detail into the character's faces. You're making the Godfather, not Harry Potter.

the godfather 3 game its going to be like the film but there wil be a twist to the game

the godfather 3 game is goin to have better guns more rackets to take down and there will be new enemies and there wil be a new don in the corleone family and the 3D map in don's view is going to look better and there shud be level 5 weapons that you can buy from the playstation store as a add on

EA and Paramount should really reconsider NOT doing a GF3

I disagree. I think they should stay with what they do best which is SPORTS games. Love PGA, Madden, NBA Live, NCAA Football and ect. EA NASCAR was discontinued. Its all about profit I think. If a game does well, it will go on. Godfather 2 didn't do well from what I've read and my own personal experience with it. Just my opinion; but, I think EA made the right choice. Drezee1 is also right I think.
