I also have been having issues with using the Saskatoon Blades in Season Mode, Been looking forward to this for ages, and now i can't even play as them now, sucks big! I can use them in Play Now and the Memorial Cup Tournament, please e-mail me at hobocan@yahoo.com when something comes about that will allow me to play as them in season mode, thanks!

I can't get my slider settings to save once I restart my PS3 in season or playoff mode. I go into season mode, create a new season and save it as " season1" then after the season is loaded, I enter the " My NHL11" in season mode and adjust the sliders to my liking. I then press square to save settings and the save is completed. They save fine game to game, however; once I restart my ps3 or simply reload the game from scratch all my slider settings are back to the default positions when I load my "season1" file.

BTW: The sliders I'm trying to get to save are gameplay sliders like penalties, slap shot power etc..

I have even deleted all the NHL 11 data off my PS3 and re-downloaded it all but this problem still persists.

I'm confused because I have had a few people tell me that is does save for them after a restart.

Can someone please confirm this to be an issue or is it just my system ?

PROBLEM SOLVED :

OK.. I just wanted to post the solution I found for this problem. When I was having this saving problem I had a Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel connected via the USB port on my PS3. Once I disconnected this device my slider settings were saved properly in these other modes. I'm assuming that the wheel for whatever reason was causing the game to save incorrectly.
Anyway, looks like all is well now !

In season mode, the number of point "awarded" for a OT loss or shootout loss is reversed in the menu.

If you chose 0 pt, you will get the point for losing in OT
If you chose 1 pt, you will not get the point for losing in OT

so i went on to continue playing my season mode withe the blackhawks but when i get to the page where the jerseys are picked a message pops up saying "VISIT WWW.EASPORTS.COM/NHL11/ TO RECEIVE THE CODE TO UNLOCK THE NEW NHL ALTERNATE JERSEYS". and now ii won't let me get pass this screen. I went to the site but no such code exists. Not sure whats wrong. Please help

that NHL players signing with CHL is that only if your playing in the whl or is it for OHL and QMJHL as well... also when into the trade can u start trading because ive tried trading for players during the season and they always say they arent trading players anytime soon?

I'm having this problem as well. Game 7 I believe as the Rebels, except mines freezing against Swift Current. On the 360, if that matters.

I have only played a WHL season, but the NHL players siging with WHL happens to me too. Marty Turco just signed with Portland.......................

This really needs to be fixed.

It has happened to me. When I am the Brandon WHEATKings I can play the first 2 games of the season but get a freeze when I go to play game no.3 against Swift. It also happens in my first game against Saskatoon in the season.Some dumb American tech tried saying it was my console. Told me to buy anew one if they sold them there. I said no they dont we have to go to the Towns igloo and order from the head dog musher.

I'm playing a WHL season with the Calgary Hitmen, and everytime I have to play either the Swift Current Broncos or the Saskatoon Blades, the game freezes at the load screen. Later in the season the Hitmen play both teams quite a bit and I don't want to over those games everytime just to get past them, not to mention that because you can't turn auto-save off, the cpu hands you losses most of these games. Is there a way to fix this or a patch coming out SOON for this??

That really sucks for WHL fans, they better fix because I was think about being the Hitmen in a season.

I too get the same problem with my PS3. My question is, I've never encountered problems before so will EA send out a patch to fix (have they done this in the past) or should I return the game and buy it at a later date hoping it will be fixed later on?

Same thing here... I started a season with the Montreal Juniors, after two weeks or so teams started signing NHL players, Marty Turco ended up in Gatineau! I knew his career was at a dead point, but going back to the QJMHL, come on Marty!!!

Well since there has been no official response or action from EA it is safe to say they just don't care.

Time to return the game and get my money back.

Hold on.. it's only been a week, and the mods/CM are going to discuss a lot of things in a meeting pretty soon. I know what I'm bringing up for discussion, and that's season/WHL.
