I mentioned this in an earlier post but...I love my wireless controller. It works great especially for boxing and tennis. I haven't had any issues with it at all. I am still leaving the wired nunchuk in the pouch of the leg strap for the whole workout. I switch to the wireless nunchuk for the activities where the nunchuk is held in my hand.

I've gotten good at switching over from wired to wireless, the transition is so quick now that the music doesn't pause anymore.

I found that when using the wireless nunchuck in the pouch, it didn't register the running effectively. Since then, I have started to leave the wired nunchuck in the pouch and swap when required.

I think that this in itself is a better method since it means less wear and tear on the pounch so hopefully a longer life span! I did notice some of the thread coming away (which I have tied off so hopefully not going to keep coming away) so I am now leaving the nunchuck in the pouch permanently (don't use wii for anything else!).

I bought my Nyko wireless nunchuk 2 days ago, and it worked great the first day. Yesterday was a rest day, so I didn't use it. This morning, when I went to start up, the batteries were dead! I had left it in the leg strap, and didn't realize that it should be turned off. I replaced the batteries, it worked fine for a while, then suddenly, the program froze during lunges, telling me to stand up, which I had already done. Nothing budged it until I connected the wired nunchuk.

Has anybody else had this happen? Was it from leaving it in the leg strap for 2 days?

It was so nice to do my high knee exercise cordless, where before, when I brought down my arms, I got the wire caught on my knee or foot with the wired nunchuk.

I have rechargable batteries in my Nyko. I don't know if that makes a difference. The only issue that I have had is that sometimes the adapter part that fits onto the end of the remote will loosen and that will stop everything. A square will pop up saying "attach nunchuk", once you click it back in everything starts to work again. If it freezes again maybe turning the wireless nunchuk off for 30 seconds and then reconnecting will help.

I bought a wireless one too just for this and it doesn't work to well. Worked Pretty good on the running. But fought with it for 20 minutes on the bicep curls and finally gave up and went back to the wired one. Haven't tried the wireless one again.

I hadn't even thought to get a wireless nunchuck - those straps drive me nuts too!

I bought a wireless nunchuk, but when I try to use it with EA Active I keep getting the message to insert the wired nunchuk. It won't let me continue until I do, and then if I try to take it out, I get the same message. Has anyone had this problem? Do I need to change something in the settings?

I bought the Nyko wireless nunchuk a couple of weeks ago. I had some problems with it at first, but figured out that as soon as it starts acting up, I change the batteries. I also make sure I turn it off immediately after the session is over. It really eats batteries! Also, I keep the wired nunchuk in the leg strap and just switch to the wireless when I'm asked to hold it in my hand for an exercise. It sure is nice to not be hit in the face with the cord, or get it caught on my leg when I do the high knee thing.

After reading several posts on wireless Nunchuks, here's my experience. I bought a Datel wireless at Target & will be taking it back.
Problems with it were:
1. The transmitter didn't fit on the Motion Plus & sleeve and I don't want to keep taking the Plus cube off.
2. When I tried it without the Plus, it didn't seem to register very well or stay on.
3. The sync button was right where you need to push it to get it in the nunchuk holder in the strap and the nunchuk itself was more bulky and not a good fit.

Someone said the WII warranty is void if you use a non-Nintendo accessory...but how often are you really able to to use the warranty anyway?

I think I'll deal with the cord until Nintendo comes out with a wireless that fits with the system better. Hope they are working on it!!!

I picked up a Nyko wireless nunchuck yesterday. It worked great for me for anything that was NOT in the strap. But once I put it in the strap (only tried lunges) it would fail to react properly. I will probably try 'new' batteries at some point and see if that helps, but I am currently using the batteries that shippied with it. Like others on here, I'll probably use the wired controller for anything in the pouch, and the wireless for everything else.

I'm going to check the batteries on my Nyko wireless nunchuk b/c it didn't work in my legstrap, either.

I am concerned about the wear & tear involved with constantly interchanging the wireless base with the wired nunchuk if I leave the wired in my leg strap and switch back & forth. Is it a case of the wireless nunchuk not being able to get a signal through the leg strap?

I love the idea of not having the cord to get tangled in...ever...including during lunges!

Just bought a Wuu rechargeable nunchuck from Dealextreme.com. If anything it seems to be a bit too sensitive. I keep getting the message to stand still during squats and certain arm exercises. The weird thing is it works fine for the running with it in the leg strap but not the squats.

I bought a wireless and it doesn't really fit in the leg strap and it doesn't always register with some of the exercises. As annoying as the cord is I find it less annoying than trying to get the wireless to work.

The Mad Catz wireless z-chuk fits into my leg strap and works okay for the running, etc., its about the same size as the regular nunchuk. But I probably won't use it much for the arm exercises since it doesn't have a wrist strap.

I bought the Nyko wireless nunchuk and will be returning it. It will absolutely not register for squats or lunges when in the strap and every time I do the bicep curl shoulder lift, it never thinks I have lowered my arms. Can anyone confirm that it works as reliably on these exercises? Did I get a defective one?
