1) Gameday traditions (entrances, crowd chants, etc...)
2)Momentum Meter - felt better to me when it was visual, necessary for a video game.
3) Pro-Tak - Most important game physics advancement in a long time.

2011 Wishlist:

1: Euphoria engine... I don't care that they would have to start from scratch, I don't care if the game doesn't release until November 2010, use the best possible engine and give us a game worthy of next-gen capabilities

2: Shovel Pass... this was in NFL2K5 and that was 5 years ago.

3: Refs and chain gangs... Just don't let every other pass hit the ref in the head. This stupid crap of QB passes hitting offensive linemen is beyond ridiculous

4: Halftime high-lights/Post game high-lights...

5: The ability to play Man defense and have the defense play with intelligence...

6: Spring Game...

7: If you change conferences have the new conference logo on your field, not the conference you just left...

8: Custom Playbooks...

9: Realistic passing... It's another ridiculous factor when a WR runs a post route, is 10-12 yards beyond the MLB, yet the MLB can leap high into the air to make the interception no matter how much touch you put on the ball

10: Realistic passing II... No more QB's scrambling to the left and throw, completely against their body, 20 yards across field for a perfect completion...

11: Realistic hurry up offense... Nothing more frustrating than having precious seconds tick away as your team hurries to the line of scrimmage like they have until Tuesday to snap the ball...

12: Towels, hand-warmers, jackets... College football has a lot of cold weather games... let's try to reflect that in the gear...

13: Speaking of gear... the ability to customize your players gear for specific weather. Warm games, no long sleeves, cold games with long sleeves, etc... Yes, you can do that now manually, but you have to change it every game and you have to guess the weather. This should not be too difficult to make it realistic

14: Team Entrances... I'd love to see the Hawaii Warriors do the Ha'a before the game, I'd love to see the Texas Tech Red Raider ride out on the horse, or the Florida State mascot ride out and jam the spear in the turf at midfield...

15: Realistic Passing III... With directional passing, this should be in the game, but it's not; the ability to throw the stop-fade route. Example: Hawaii lines up in Trips Right on 3rd and 5. The WR to the left runs a Go route, at about 8 yards the QB throws him the ball and intentionally under-throws the ball, the WR comes to a complete stop and makes the easy catch for the first down. The DB is playing the bomb and can do nothing about it. This works the one or two times a game they run this. Of course, you'd have to make it so that if/when a team runs it over and over the D catches on and starts anticipating it and picking it. But one or two times a game this should work like clockwork if practiced and executed perfectly...

I could go on but these are fifteen items that would add to the realism and should be easy to implement...

I think the momentum meter should be hidden! I think at best the commentary group should mention which team has the "Big Mo" on there side.

As for Pro-tak why dont they both have all the aspect of it just sucks!

I think im just going to buy madden this year, and wait next year and buy ncaa football 11 b/c it seems like the game won't have that many new features, they seem to change very little each yr with the gameplay , presentation.

Well the only reason I wanted it visual is so that it's more tangible...right now I just don't feel like it's a big part of the game. The stadium shake was absolutely awesome a few years back, I wish they'd bring that back! That truly let you know you were in a tough house!

The tackling seems really screwy. It seems like when you get within 4 feet of a defender, the game teleports them into you and they tackle you down. It's almost as if each defender has an invisible box around them and as soon as you enter that box they electric slide into you.

import draft class? Do you mean export draft class?

WHOA WHOA WHOA...when did this happen? Are you saying that exporting a draft class to Madden has been removed from this year?!

Please confirm this, or tell me where you heard this, its an absolute deal breaker for me if this is true.

haha, I don't think EA would do this, OR maybe they would. They do seem to take something out of the game each year that gamers like and then try to re-invent it a decade down the road.

One thing not mentioned that people overlook is something they should have worked on years ago.

Player Notification: don't tell me 2 wr 2 rb 1 te that tells me nothing when I'm the deff coord trying to stop a offense I need to know the personell. If a offense has Terelle Pryor at WR and Boeckman at QB you wouldn't know if Pryor is in or his back up is in you wouldn't know. If someones star wr is in or out you wouldn't know.Playcalling is always going 2 be deff depending on the personell on the field. Ok and you can't have all the fat boys in goal line offense run off the field magically in 2 seconds and break the huddle in a 5 wr set. I mean lets be serious here playcalling and substitutions go hand in hand thats why everyone is pissed about formation subs.

A few ideas in basketball you can sub on the fly so why not football.Formation subs would help big time but when online and you only get so many pauses per game there has 2 be a better way. So after you pick your play you should have 7 seconds maybe to make changes just like basketball hit stick up and down for diff postions and side to side should scroll through your back ups.also on yopur depth chart it needs to let you list as many players in that postion as needed. Because wr for example should have at least 10 spots or more because if the 2nd string is in and your in a 5 wr set you don't want the cpu to randomly put dummys in the game.we have all seen qb at safety etc....
(by name & or number)
qb pryor bauserman
hb saine herron berry hall
fb martin hyde
te ballard stoneburner
wr posey carter
wr small thomas
lt
lg
c
rg
rt

thats just a quick example but if your OL doesn't change then no notification is needed for them or any other postion
for that matter but if I put two rb's in the game or use 2 big wr's or a fast qb instead of my starter etc... the deffense should be notified

example:
sub out:

qb pryor
fb martin
te ballard
rb herron

sub in:
qb bauserman
fb saine
hb berry
te stoneburner

Then the deffense can really pick a deffense based of the offense personell and thus is much more realistic.

Maybe one day(like the 2020 game for xbox1,440) we can have real time playcalling because players have to run off the field and on the field and coaches have to pick plays quickly in order not to get a delay of game and deffense has to wait until offense subs before they sub most times some situations the coord knows what hes going to do and doesn't care. I want a game that is real IF ITS IN THE GAME IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME like 10 years ago.

Realistic injuries that are yr long people don't tear a acl in the bowl game and play at 100% in spring ball (which should be in the game) and the opener. Usually they are still effected just like realsitic injuries ppl can play through them but certain injuries limit players physical abilites thus make them slower or less effective tackle etc... all depending on the injury. Hell super tecmo bowl carted guys off the field so where is the trainers, the cart, hell these guys don't even get cramps that effect them EA you need to step it up. Hire me and I'll bust some heads open by adding important stuff and listening to gamers who know what their talking about like most of the posters in this thread.

You guys add whatever we mention that is easy to install.Try putting stuff in the game that matters.

How about in game saves for online and offline dynasty the old madden games had this.

How about custom playbooks where you can pick your favorites from other playbooks and even edit plays esp wr routes.

SOME of you guys should lose your jobs.

I'm not too worried about realistic real time injuries that last over the next upcoming season, but i do agree with you on most everything else you said. Tecmo Super Bowl did have carts AND they had chain gangs that measured for a first down. This is 20 years later and EA can't match them. This post is here to guide EA Tiburon to the best game for us gamers.
