Haha.. true, but that only means you gotta' get Dana onboard instead of each individual fighter. And that seems like an easier task to me. If THQ did not lock down an exclusive deal with the UFC, then I'd like to see what EA can produce using WEC and UFC fighters. Sorry to all the fans of "other" MMA installments, but the best talent lise in those MMA leagues, not elsewhere. And I personally would like to fight against the best. UFC signed an exclusive contract with THQ till 2011. Maybe after that they could have Zuffa fighters, I hate exclusive contracts it slows down progress due to a lack of competition take MADDEN for example.

Well, I guess that settles it then lol.. I don't know then to be honest. I know Affliction has some decent names, but do they have enough to warrant the interest of the casuall fan?? I don't think so. Maybe EA will be able to figure something else out, or buy out THQ's contract, tho in this economy I wouldn't count on that.

EA just please go through the top MMA journalism sites: Sherdog, 5 ounces of pain, MMAweekly, InsideMMA, WAMMA etc.. and check their rankings every quarter of the year from now until the roster is finalized so that you have as many of the top 10-20 fighters in each weight class! This'll take care of alot of the ppl's fav fighters and this game can boast the best overall roster in the World! Then take care of: Legends, fan favs etc...
