funny thing is that I have just visited the GAMESTYLE page and he is on there, and the comment about him really does sum him up well, he seems to go off the boil if you can stay with him for a while!

By the way I was shocked and saddened NOT to see my wonderful CMONCHRISSY on that list!!! There are a ton of no hopers, has beens and never will be´s , but no sign of CmonChrissy currently ranked 17!!!!

You have one now. I played you with my temporary guest id a few moments ago. Sorry I had to serve and volley to beat you 7-5 in the tie breaker in a very tough game.

Oh, a detailed description of CmonChrissy's playing style! Is that what you wanted, James? Now everyone knows how you play!

You were talking about uploading videos.

Imi that was you last night?

Firstly I apologixe for not sititng through the handshake etc.

Let me say that i have NEVER EVER been so angry at losing as I was at that match last night.

I had this christing stupid idiot baaastard friend watching me play you, I normally play alone, I need to concentrate. I said to him
"Cheer for me,support me"

Anyway, after taking the match point I held against at 3-2 you too casually I thought I would just pull up my play abit in the tie break.

As you remember, you beat me with a simple serve volley about 4 times , and after the second one my friend said "Thats the second time he´s done that to you" and then "Thats the third time hes done that to you" etc etc etc which was making me FURIOUS!!!!!! I was nervous as hell! When I fianlly got back on serve at 4-5 you whacked a return winner (ANOTHER one, I realy should rethink my service technique, it is losing me too many games) but then I saved a match point with a cross court pass! So I was serving and my second shot was supposed to be a wonderful hard down the line flat shot, but because of my nerves it ended up being a LAME slice that headed STRAIGHT towards you, which you put away for the easy volley.

After which I laid into my friend somthing terrible...I have never spoken to anyone like that before, he was like "Just face it, he was better than you, 5 times he got you with the same tactic" and I was literally kicking the furniture!!! Pathetic hey!?

Anyway, I must say that I consider myself the better player (Serena Williams -like bad loser style here, sorry!) I passed you plenty of times , more than I have aginst other net players. What you did well was striking first, getting the first blow in, and your well placed served helped you do that very well.

May i use this post to swear to god jesus and mary that I will NEVER lose to you again!!!

edit: ok yeah I was totally wrong I had both years confused lol. 88 wimbledon was edberg d. becker and 85 french was wilander d. lendl. oops lol I guess I had 89 french and not even sure where I pulled sampras v. edberg from, only final they played was the 92 us open I think lol....

god you male tennis loving nerd

Im talking about the 88 Wimby semi final , Evert v Navratilova...me and a even sadder friend recreated the game they played at 5-4 final set but i have no youtube experience to put it on there! Roland Garros 85 was also the final with Evert and Martina, last two games we recreated too.
Sad hey!

Oh and Imi please lets organise a match with your higer ranked player!!! I think I mentally take things too easily when I play lower ranked players. In fact I would say that the majority of my losses are to players I didnt take seriously at the start of the match only for it to be too late when I realise they CAN play.
A very bad habit, I take the first game WAY to cautiously.

Welcome to the club and then before you know it youre down 2-0, sometimes you can fight your way back into a tie break but some unlucky net shots or a couple nervous swings and the match is over, it's matches like that where I pray for a rematch for some peace of mind but of course the majority of these guys dont want to rematch...

Well, James. It was a very fun match playing you, with some help from your friend and some lucky bounces looks like I was able to pull off an upset (although I do regret taking some 70 odd points from you playing a temp id that I am going to throw away in some time). I don't normally play during those hours (as I am in California) about 9 hours behind most of Europe, but I was getting tired from writing code and decided to play a match in the middle of the workday to relax a bit, and luckily it was with you and I remembered you were wondering why no one wrote a review for you and I decided to play you (inspite of your very high rank and use of defensive pro - against whom I don't normally play baseline with my created guy). I had to step into serve and volley mode after finding you outhitting, outrunning and as you might say out thinking me from the baseline for the first two games. Unless I force a net play there is very little a created player can do against a defensive pro in the hands of a skilled player. I did find towards the end the weakness of Evert's serve that you mentioned in some other post and I might exploit that a bit more than I did this match in the rare situation that I play you again sometime soon You are very good fun player to play against, unlike some other T campers or glitch exploiters among your peers at the very top.

Thats not possible. Doing that would force a tiebreak. If you serve bugged every point in a tiebreaker and lost every point on your opponents serve the tiebreaker would go on forever o_O

I coouldnt believe he was exploiting the serve then when I finally got on thew guy at the last point that like lag happened in his favor!! I couldn't believe it its like only happened to me twice!!! He knew what he wasx doing. Every time I play this game something like this happens!!! Usually all errors with the mote!!! I hate this game!!! It sucks!! Its like you guys didn't take the time to play it and. See if it works!!! Why???? Money huh..... they just could not gewt it right . Whatever

You have a nerve to talk about anybodies play style. I played you tonight and you were the worst kind of T-camper. All you did was camp plus you use the nunchuck. I understand wanting to win but just standing there can't be any fun.

Played against a top 10 player tonight. A surprisingly easy match (I don't understand why he has such a good win/loss ratio / series of wins), but when I made the penultimate point, I got a message that said that the connection to EA servers has been lost. I lost 30 points. Could this be a cheat? Normally, I get a different disconnection message and don't lose (in most cases) any points.

Sounds like bad luck, Ive got the connection to ea servers lost numerous times(normally in the middle of matches) I dont really know what causes it but if it says "you have lost connection to ea servers" you will lose points because the game has disconnected you and not them.

ON a side note the worst top 10 player Ive played is definitely manu1414, unfortunately he forfeits if we ever get matched up now.

Hope it isnt me you are refering to Epon, since I am now 9 or 10 on the list but have also suffered from this connection dropping at very late stages of a match.
It happened to me twice this week, once last night during a VERY competetive and enjoyable game, but it was at something like 2-2 40 30 for the other player serving, not a logical time for EITHER player to disconnect, so it must be due to other problems.

Anyway, I had a match with Jgmeetoo or something, he posts here. I seem to remember CObras saying how fun it was to play him??!?!
The first game (him serving) was serve and volley "abuse" 100%!!!!! Although to me it isnt abuse at all, I like playing against it!! I was worried I was gonna lose but luckily I had already played around 6 matches that day so was well warmed up and was able to stretch him with my passing shots and also to lob his extremely-close-to-the-net drop volleys all the way over his head to the baseline.

It is soooo satisfying to do that to net campers, but I have noticed that you really have to watch exactly how much oooomph you put on the lob. Not enough and they will reach it, the slightest bit too much and it goes out.

Anyway the next 2 games he stayed back more, which played into my hands even more, made me relax. The one thing that constantly beats me these days are sustained net attacks! Seeing a player at the baseline just makes me relax more and play without worrying!

Anyway I won 3-0 , and sadly he didnt want any more matches.

I really dont understand why people dont go in for rematches much when they lose. I mean this guy was 30 something in the rankings, I was 10, you dont get that match up often, so why not keep playing?? Obsessed with points I reckon. If I lose to a good player, I dont care how many points I lose, my pride makes me want to play them over and over till I beat the fukka!

JGMeeto now refuses to play me! No lag issues, although I did win a point that he should have won, but I gave him two points back for it. Other than that the game played fine.

I just play mostly baseline, so I guess its another case of people hating to lose too much. A shame, especially from someone ranked so high.

Nope.

Grrr... 5 of my last 6 defeats are from you, CmonChrissy. Great matches (against Aik) tonight. In my view, you're probably the best player at the moment, but I'm wondering why your series of wins isn't that long. Maybe I haven't found the right key yet. The connection was a little slow at the beginning, but it became better then. I couldn't play GST for one week, but I think I regained my form. Evert's serve supplied me with some points.
