My goalie is 90 and I only have my pro card (One after 30 games), so he will probably end up around 94-95 I am guessing

I'm a 79 OVR PWF. dont have my veteran card yet. looking forward to boosting a few key areas. mainly checking and speed.

When I was playing defense my guy was a 79, but I switched to a RW and got his overall up to a 70 and I am working on that as we speak. My goalie rating is a 76 ironically.

I asked this yesterday, but I got no reply. could some one please give me some insight? Thanks.

To get myself started, I bought myself an off ensive defenseman boost pack for my online guy. I've been told that when you add your xp, it doesn't count even if you pass the orange bar. Is this true? My player's overall doesn't change either. Help Please!!

Yeah I know. To be honest, I bet I play better with a 84 overall 2 way D then I do with a 90 overall DD. I have a guy on my team though before every game he pauses and checks out everyones overall.. (He is kind of dumb)... Anyways hes like "that guys a 85, he must be good"

I just tell him that overall doesn't determine skill of player or performance of player...

However it is nice to have a high rating just FO SHO LOL!

I have all boosts and a Legend card. My 2-way fdw is "only" 83.

it's all about your set up.

I talked to a guy last night for Ps3 who plays for a top club and he is always able to figure skate around the ice..

Anyways he was talking to me about his attributes and he told me that he has 99 deke, puck control, passing, handeye, off awareness etc..

Anyways it is nice to have Defensive D to counter all that since I can get 99 in all important D categories as well..

I don't recommend using DD until you get a high card and boosts on speed/accel/agil

Im like a 73 overall TWF, never bought any boosts and have super star card. idc about overall, I have 2ppg and 147 goals in about 105 games and over 500 hits.

My skater is a playmaker at an overall rating of 89. It all depends on what style of play you like my guy is setup at

I have nothing added to checking or aggressiveness. But I'm a Lw and I'm not a checker. I'm an offensive playmaker and score. My speed, acceleration and agility are only at an 82...but I'm not a breakaway player either. My club cycles and controls the puck in the zone so I don't need crazy speed either.

My goalie is a 94 overall in game... as a stand up. My Defensive Dman is a 90 over all with my super star card

Well right now my players overall is 84 and that is with Legend card. The reason is that I use a 2 way defender set instead of a defensive defenseman set because I find that it gives me better balance, speed, agility, endurance, acceleration, puck control, passing, while only slightly sacrifing defense..

For example I my D atts will be 85-90 as a 2 way defender but if I were to use a DD set, they would all be 95-99...

I can live with 85-90 as long as I have the athletics and offensive skills.. I would rather play like Duncan Keith instead of playing like Chris Pronger. Both are great D-men but I like to have more of an active stick..

It is all about the puck and which team has it more

I have my legend card and I generally use the playmaker setup. I get him up to an 88 ovr. I have all slots and nearly all boosts unlocked.

Offensive: 95deke,98hand,97oaware,98pass,97puckc,60ssa,64ssp,90wsa,85wsp
Defensive: 90 stickcheck,95disc,96daware,50check,50agg
Skating: 95accel,97speed,81agil,81end,80strength

i dont pay much attention to the overall as long as i have the attributes where i want them
