My son & I just bought and are setting up a server & I would love some suggestions as to the best way to set up Battlefield 2 v1.5 on it. Can someone suggest a link to basic instructions & suggestions.

I really need your help. I usualy see all the server in white, but for some reason when I had stop playing for about 2 months now the majority of the server are in red and I cant get into them. Is there something I'm missing in this up date? Please help a soldier out.

Just last summer there were over 300 servers online for Battlefield 2 PC and now only 30 and there have been servers that people dont even play just sit there and level up which i think is redicouluse. Not sure if BF2 PC is supported for Windows 7?

Some of these posts should be in the Members Helping Members section, but anyway, I get about 1500 servers (with BF2, Special Forces, and the latest patch) It's about 500 if you select Populated Servers only. Do you have the latest update, patch 1.5, that came out in September?

my battlefield 1.50 works fine ?..
accept that i didnt get ranked up and i suppose to 6000 points ago,
is that cuz off the server bug ?

i now have about 500 people on board for a possible class action suite through the maryland attny generals office, we paid 45 to 55 dollars per game and another 10 to 20 dollars for map update on a game that will not play live due to server problems, I along with many others want our money back. everyone tell EA how much its gonna cost them for this if they dont fix the problem. i have 500 or so people on board for about 65 dollars a piece, wonder how many people will jump on with us. SPREAD THE WORD. FIX IT OR PAY FOR IT.

same problems on xbox live,game drops and connection issues are extremely common...ill never buy EA products again thanks to battlefield 2 server issues. waste of my time and money! F**k ea and their useless servers. just boycott ALL EA products.

Ea servers are bad enough at the best of times, look at online mba and fifa... i frequently get kicked from bc2 games, usually right at the bloomin end of the game and lose my 2000 points and thats despite a sync rate of 17.5 Mbps, no connection errors or hardware drop outs and with the Playstation in my DMZ (demilitarised zone outside the firewall)....

More to the point, me and four of my mates who regularly play together all bought veitnam a couple of weeks ago, it was fine then (as fine as ea gets anyways) but we have all struggled this week (beginning 31/1/11) to get into games.

I've conected once through "play now" in the last 24hrs and god knows how many attempts, trying with different routers and combinations of setups. When one of us manages to get in, the rest of us have been piggy backing our way in on them. This is clearly a server issue.

Something tells me that this "maintenace" was ea shifting us onto a crap server. Anyone else notice which big ea title came out this week? Deadspace 2...

Right, I spoke to ea tech support...

The dude put my problems down to corrupted game data in the game data utility... I deleted it an reinstated the game, did the 1.75Gb download and reinstated Vietnam an spec ops.

It worked! Not had any problems since.

Further to this I now know of a similar problem to this a friend had with fallout3 it too was resolved this way...

I have been a level 50 for 1-1/2yrs, and now it says I need about 2000 points to get to level 2. No specs. Can't play now. 360 version. My rank has to come back with my specs. I know there are server issues, but I have worked to hard to loose anything. It is 4am Tuesday, and I still don't have anything, and can't play.

windows servers COOP is restricted to 16 players Map Sizes as well not just linux

we tried this the other day all we have for a selection is COOP 16 Player Map Sizes and the new Map Blue Pearl is not supported in COOP either

this is Stock Game on 1.5 BTW
Not Sure if this setting can be changed in Modding or not

Ok, this just BITES! I have been playing BFBC2 on xbox 360 since it came out. Have taken a break from the xbox for a couple months, now sitting back down to get back into it and NADA. Friggin EA servers won't connect or find games.

This is BS! Not so much that they are having a problem, but that they are not apparently even trying to fix it.

What version is mostly played? I`ve installed 1.53 but I can`t find any servers with the same version. But I find alot on other versions but I don`t know wich version that is...

Could someone please tell me?
