I can't register my bf2 armored fury/euro force either. I bought the complete collection 3 days ago and installed it all today, also created my battlefield account in the game and everything. It says to enter a valid promotional code, and i've tried it several times and am reading it off the back of the instruction book ...

I'm having the same problem. Bought BF2 Complete Edition today and have been frustratingly trying to get the game to acknowledge my purchase of SF/Boosters. The Maps are all present but I can't start them - I get "that" error message instead ("You need to purchase/register booster pack to play this map..."). The EA account system seems to be completely messed up - with different website designs for the US and Dutch (where I am). I also get the "Invalid Promotional Code" message when trying to register the Boosters.

Seriously?! Can we please get some answers!!

Greetings,

It has come to our attention that the servers are not showing up in your game's server browser or GameSpy Arcade or on GameSpy Comrade.

There may be an error in the Master Server Query or there is possible maintenance that is taking longer then expected. The GameSpy Admins and Techies have been notified of the problem and are working on fixing it. It should be fixed hopefully soon so please just wait and look for another post confirming the fix or until you see servers in game.

The maintenance or error goes out to ALL games that use our Master Server Query. That means if the game uses GameSpy's server browsing to locate servers, you will not see any. You may how ever still be able to join game's by direct connecting to them through IP address.

I have this problem also. I bought BF2:CC and it won't let me register AF or EF. It keeps saying: "Please enter a valid promotional code" whenever I use the code on the back of the manual.

This seems to be commopn, I also bought BF2:CC, and, while I have found a page that says I have SF/Ef/AF registered, I cannot join any said maps. I am told to buy the expansions. I installed on a Vista machine, btw. What is EA doing to address this. I can't return the software, and I can't play 2/3 of the game I PAID for.

like wise i bought the collection pack and it wants a promo code even tho i have a cd key.so i wasted the money for the collection that i cant use that sux

I have submitted a ticket regarging the EF/AF registration issue I am having. I explained to them that I followed their directions on the support pages to the letter and, so far, I cannot play these maps or servers. I am waitng for their response. I will post any info as I receve it.

O.K.
So I was tired of wondering what I could do to get my xpacks running,.(BF2:CC)
Went through all the registration crap, and still couldn't play on AF/EF server. Then I open up the disk with Windows Explorer and(WOW), I saw a folder "installers". "No @#$N way" I said to no-one. ( I was frustrted!!). So I opened the folder and there it was..THE ANSWER!!! It seems EA forgot to mention that AF/EF are not in the original install. Just BF@ and Special Forces.
Anyway ran both installers, and WOW, no @#$%n way...It worked..I was having what I thought was registration problems and it turned out that the expacks weren't even installed.

EE Please solve this Problem this is ridiculous you have us paying for this Collection and we get no results from the games defective codes i still have a "non-valid" promotional code i am extremely frustrated in the poor lack of attention to this subject i would like to request this problem be delt with soon please.

did you download the 1.41 patch yet. It should fix it. Better yet download the 1.5 patch.
