-scaling cap pieces
-night skating area in cap (darker and be able to place lights and generators)

Skate World
-small scaled sections; that new dlc skatepark is dead on with the handrails and stairs. now do that for a whole section of the city.

I'll try to include things i haven't seen others type yet.


Arm whip mechanic:

be able to whip your arms into a spin and let it have some gameplay value.

For example, if you pump through tranny and stagger each trigger, it should slightly whip your arms, so when you ollie you spin faster in the direction your arms whipped.

this would allow for faster spins like in skate 1, exclusively for tranny. Obviously, doing a simple grab will allow you to spin faster than just ollieing, doing a tweak/one foot, or doing a finger flip, which would slow down your spin speed. Doing the whip at maximum speed and with the simpler grabs should allow for 720s and 900s on much smaller tranny than what is possible now, also they should be way harder to land.

The street value of this mechanic would allow for much better fs flip and bs flip animations, in switch too. The pre-ollie whip would allow the code to anticipate the direction of spin, and therefore call a different kickflip/heelfip animation. could work for bigspins too.

Kickflip to Grab Animation Stream:

We've already seen how certain shuv-it late flips had streamed animations, the same could be done for some of the more common kickflip to indy combinations.

Handplant to Fakies:

A simple game mechanic to allow this would be nice.

Improvements to the hardcore grinding:

Give more control over the direction you can ollie out of grinds to allow for more double-grind combonations, so we don't have to try to glitch for the tricks we want.

Different Ollie's for more flip tricks:

if you are crouching and press click a stick or a bumper, you can lock in an 'aggressive ollie' as long as you stay crouching. an aggressive ollie would allow, - much faster double kickflips/heelflips - double varial kicks/heels - double tre's and lasers

if you are crouching and click the right stick (or any other button), you lock in a 'pressure ollie' as long as you stay crouching, this would allow - different pressure flips instead of kickflip or shuv combonations - impossibles instead of 360 shuvs

finally, if you are crouching and click a different stick (or bumper or whatever), you could lock in a 'loose ollie' as long as you stay crouching, this would allow - slow versions of many flip tricks, that would necessitate catching with the feet buttons

Pivots/Reverts:

Different animations and more options would be great, like a way to do it without always killing your speed.

Finally, the obvious. Pushing in switch. low flips out of manuals. different rail lengths in CAP. blah blah blah

Get rid of Street Contest and Tranny Contests


You don't like the contests ???!! No offense intended bro....its just Im very shocked that someone would want to remove the contests from career mode.

I actually think they should have more contests. I loved doing them. It would actually be really satisfying if they included more real-life contests, such as the Tampa Pro, Dew Tour, and most important, the Street League (along with the Maloof Contest, I love it). Yeah, I think including those major contests would make the game feel more authentic:

see i like contest as much as the next guy but honestly its the challenges that really just make me say "wtf is this sh?" yanno. if theres too many contest and the challenges are just whack then it makes it hard on people who dont hawk (like myself) to even enjoy doing them. i think skate 3 killed it with some of the requested goals for challenges.
just keep it simple or at least tailor it to each mode and ill be ok. i had to switch to easy mode to do a lot of challenges, i feel that shouldnt have to be done in order to do a challenge.

Remove the goddamn difficulties.
more styles
deeper CAS. more variety on clothes, new hairstyles, better face mod.
fix the 90 second timeline in freemode
snap boards? (would look cool in videos and such) pretty dumb but whatever
fix so we dont have to glitch the camera to get a legit fisheye and longlens ( -25mm & +75mm )

I dont know how a catch system would work with flickit seeing as how every trick is custom to each movement and to have a catch mechanic would be an entirely different type of control scheme all together basically defeating the purpose of the RB button for darkslides etc. but imo this is as close as you can get to the whole "catch" thing without tweaking flickit too hard.

Late Flip Variations - Basically the same principle with pressure flips. You do and ollie and whilst in the air you do a certain flip trick motion, for example, you do an ollie and then do a varial flip motion which in turn produces a late varial flip (like the one done by mike mo capaldi in fully flared). This also applies to every other motion of the stick, so like for instance you can do an ollie and then do a nollie flip variation motion and your skater shoudl have a corresponding trick that should go with it. Im sure there are many if not deff a few tricks that could go with every motion we have on the stick now. but yeah that's about 100 more trick added to your bag.


No Comply variations - Pretty simple to implement into the game aswell. just do a no comply and the flip trick motion. pour example, no comply kickflip. simply push with the opposite foot then, like you would do a normal no comply, just do the kickflip motion instead. The no complies are soo slow when executed i think BB could totally pull this off with ease. but to make it look good is totally up to how much work they put into the animations and how fluid they can make them of course.

Hippy Jumps - Possibility to do them in and out of things i.e grinds,slides,manuals....darkslides?

More customization - Having a much more flexibility with our skater

Possibly different heights on our skaters....idk if this will mess with physics or not but its a suggestion...

A better facial customization for people who think we all look too similar

If BB is able to, get more licenses for more color-ways of shoes and other apparel

Have an option 2 and 3 on customizable clothing

Being able to wear any and all clothing the pro skaters have would be more than enjoyable

Ok heres a list of options me and a few people have wanted on clothing:
-All hats and beanies having the option to have longhair/dreads etc come out of them
-Hats being worn with hoodie up, for example ryan gallants attire
-(already said) Option 1-3 on all t-shirts and various other apparel i.e hoodies, like bigger and smaller fit
-Sagging option on pants and yes even skinny jeans
-more details and physics on all clothing, like hoodies move in the wind and pants/shirts have more creases and folds to make it look bagger/tighter when you choose different options on them
-Being able to put the tounge of the shoe over the cuffs of the pants
-being able to wear multiple layers of different clothes, i.e wear a Fourstar t-shirt under a Matix flannel or something along the lines of that


so yeah those are my suggestions. and i REALLY REALLY REALLY think BB should take a look into this.....dont have to but it's just a suggestion...... "

also i dont know if anyone really could point it out but i think my idea for a catching system would work with BB's current engine without them having to tweak the physics so much since they didnt have enough of a budget to really work any new physics or anything.

but basically you hold the stick wherever the motion ends and the board keep spinning in that way. so 360 flips go into 720 flips and so forth. and of course BB could make the flip faster so itll alllow us to do some flatground tech n stuff.

Wow! Learn something new every day. I thought it was more to do with how quickly you pushed the button... Quick tap - light push. Hold it down - hard push. I'll have to try this out.

Most of you already pointed out the main problems / needs... so i may repeat...

Customization / Animations /physics :
- The main concern is that irl every skater has his own style... many fakeskaters are clones even with the new styles / postures system. so yeah they really need to go further on this aspect then we wont feel like watching the same sh over and over. Only a few people in the community have that unique style...and its sadly more about filming / spots rather than about the way we catch flips, do tricks, etc.. Customization (clothes, style, etc) is what people expect in a realistic skateboarding game.
- I dont think front foot catch / back foot catch system is a good idea... i dont want to bother how i will catch my tricks and worry about what stick i click maybe just a "let go the stick" when you want to catch . I think it would be cool to have a "style editor" where you tweak your tricks (the simple way would be : hsu 3flip, carrol kickflip, etc... but a more complex system could be awesome like for each tricks you set the motion). Then your skater is set... for the most part and if you want to do something specific over an obstacle or something, you just modify it especially for that trick.
- Wheel bite crooked, feeble, smith
- good looking shove out of slides (not the same animation as a flatground shove)
- better shove it animation (most of them are ugly)
- the way the rotation is done when your fakie / switch, its better in skate 3 bus a switch 180 still spins like a fakie 180
- no long legs while jumping over an obstacle
- legit no complys
- legit wallrides
- impossible / forward flips / etc
- walking with your board is weak, when you have your board in hand irl you hold it with the nose not with the side of the board / fix the run / jump on your board animation
-more freedom for pop heights... there are only like 3...
- dont bring retarded landing animations...

Other stuff :
- timeline fix
-no glitch needed to get fisheye / long lens
- MAKE AI SKATERS OPTIONAL!!!!!!!!!! there is not need for an explanation... we all know BB had a secret plan to create computer skaters that run into you on purpose
- same for peds
- multiple session markers
- day cycle : sun is not shining the same way, it can be cloudy, but randomly
- a ply wood that has a normal size....

These ideas are great... I just don't think the current dev team could pull it off. They don't seem to have the resources or skill to pull off most of these ideas. Just my opinion.

I think Skate 4 seems unlikely though.

thats what my theory idea would be like.....just as long as the feet were controllable so you could maneuver your feet
out of the way of the board, you could donkey kick tre if you really wanted.
