Great post. I finally checked out that game and read about it. EA should definitely buy the work of these guys and stick them on the payroll. It is all a bit extensive as an out of the box promoter mode for EA MMA but I could totally see it as both a standalone Xbox Live/PSN game (utilizing EA MMA assets of course) and a promoter mode add on for the full title where you can actually view the fights in real time.

Tons of potential here and this team has already done all the hard work.

I would totally get that if it was a stand alone item for XBLA or PSN even if it had a few benefits for EA MMA game

Oh sorry for being 9 months late. :p Welcome to the forums, Rob! I hope the EA Sports MMA team explores the possibility of adding some of Strikeforce's women's division to this game! Would really be a great opportunity to offer something no other MMA game based on the real sport has offered and it could help promote and help that smaller yet growing division expand in popularity alongside the other divisions of MMA.
Beyond that, the possibilities would multiply countless more times if Create a Fighter is included too!

there's too many flash cameras in the crowd..everytime the fighters punch,takedown,kick they will start flashing..take that out would be much better..

Why not to make such a game for pc users? all new and good games from ea coming only for xbox 360 and ps3 users.

We need to have a Create a Promotion feature in the game.

I appreciate what you guys have done so far and i must say the game looks great, a million times better than the other game even at this early stage but this is something that would make the game that much better and is something that fans have been crying out for.

Nice to have a dev onboard to answer questions.
Nice job on the overall feel to the fight, animations and gameplay works well, it does look like real MMA fights.
However the number of available moves is really limited, are you planning to add more moves with upcoming patches?
most blatant examples are for instance : can't posture up and land powerful strikes from the half guard like Couture loves to do, can't do the body lock which is where all takedowns come from when you are a greco roman wrestler like Couture, can't elbow to the face in slide control, nor knee to the body, can't supplex either.
Also photo game face really doesn't work well, please let us edit the heads like you did in the fight night series.
