sliders are ok in some cases, some things need an on and off button:
1. On/off button for- very arcade and annoying counter punch yellow flash.
2. On/Off button for arcade like ringside camera men-camera flash ( the flash by the way is mostly not needed virtually or in real life as in all cases the ring has a gigantic beam of light/s at the top of it, so you can see it clearly from anywhere in the entire stadium).
3. On/Off or change sound type button for the extremely annoying Training Gym beep.
4. Change default side button to allow career follow thru and training from RT side, in most cases the game wires you to lft side orientation so lft side has advantage bc it's the side you are forced to deal with the most until you play another person or fight now mode.
5. On/Off button for screen wobble- Adjust the stun stuff, why should the whole screen wobble just cause I stunned the other dude, you are know punishing us both because I can't move well or see clearly either, just make his controller move funny or shake harder or something-both guys should not be impacted because one has been stunned.
I have been barking about the main two headache inducing bs additions to the game for a minute- which are the yellow counter punch flash and the camera men flashing. I should have did like all my boys and all they boys which is about 100 plus guys and just simply not purchase this game. But I did anyway, until "behold"- I sold this dumba** game yesterday so after this no more posts from me again. I won't purchase round 5 if it come out either. Why ?- well the series seems to be moving toward the Knockout Kings/Rocky mix (arcade/brawler) as opposed to an even more mature boxing sim (Round 3/Victorious boxers mix) and also because I prefer the technical style of the dudes that lead round 3 to glory and most of them i think are gone.
Round 4- is a very pretty, fast, arcade fight/brawl/yellow blinking/camera flashing game not the methodical, masterful and strategic boxing game that round 3 was. Round 3 had face and body expressions you could literally see concern in the fighters face and body movement (retreating) when he was getting it put on'em, in round 4-the arcade elements interrupt the boxing sim, i.e. between the screen wobbling, counter punch yellow flashing, cameras flashing and no face or body expression indicating fatigue or injury, you can barely see clearly what's going with your opponent and resort to just button mashing and for some of us-getting a headache from all the flashing and cameras blinking. In addition to that, the punches thrown feel weird and rubbery for some reason, not impactful and damaging, the computer has a weird stamina depletion and recovery ratio for punches thrown- whether missed or landed, even with the stamina slider at zero-while the controlled player can only throw three or four connect/missed punches before he's moving like a snail and stuck to the other dude like they slow dancing, the haymaker is odd, stupid and slow- if no one can even use it, why even put it in the game. Then there's the stupid beeping sound in the training gyms-but no way to change the type of sound or turn down the volume of it.
Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good things to this game too and I see where the new dudes worked they a** off to make some changes unfortunately the game speed is so fast and has so many flashes, most of the time you don't see it. Not one time did I just simply have fun playing this game, nor did I feel like I could truly box to victory on this game-it just moved to fast and had to many annoying things that got in the way. This game just ain't for me no more. Hopefully someone will read this, if some of these things are addressed it may make a difference for other people who already purchased it or would purchase the game. I wish you cats well. Peace
