He missed 3 weeks. He was activated by week 4. So you must take out Jamarcus Russell for 3 NFL weeks if Michael Crabtree gets removed from the 49ers roster.

Russell signed between week 1 and week 2 of the 2007 season

no Russell signed a few days after week 1 ended...which meant he could be in the game.

just because it says week 4 doesn't mean nothing. he signed Sept 12th, which means he was on the roster after week 1 and before week 2. Russell only missed 3 or 4 days as an NFL player during the regular season, he still could have played week 2 but why would you put in a guy who hasn't practiced?

Then Jamarcus Russell must be removed from this game for 1 NFL week into the regular season.

remove him from online play, but put him in franchise so you have a chance to sign him lol, just make his asking price astronimical

ok, but still Crabtree hasn't signed, he can't be a free agent since the 49ers own his rights. so he basically is in limbo and shouldn't be in madden at all

Take Crabtree out. When/If he signs, put him back in. Not hard.

Heres my take on it. Im a niners fan, and i use the niners when i play my franchise. frankly i could care less if he is on or not. he doesnt have overwhelming speed-88, or great awareness, sure he has the potential to be great, but most of the time you only have 2 or 3 recievers on the field when using the niners. Ive found him useful and nice to have around when i need someone to jump and get a ball, but otherwise he's a salary drain on the game and the niners arent hurting for wideouts. Plus i think Josh Morgan will end up being the better receiver on that team anyway, so honestly, Michael who?
