I really don't like when Rabbit dies at the end. It upset me and made me sweat a lot.

Campaign was rather short. 4 hours..for the price we paid, it should have been longer. Six hours would have been good but 4 is just too short.

EA should have mentioned to consumers that DIGITAL DOWNLOADS would not be available from ANY vendor before a specific time. I have a feeling most people who purchased a DD were expecting same time release as the GameStop in-store pickup, otherwise they would have gotten the physical copy of the game.

Just my guess.... This definately won't make my first impressions of gameplay (once I can finally download and install the game, next week) very positive.

Just my opinion.

Bomber

BTW, I pre-ordered from GameStop.

All I get when I go to multiplayer is a message saying online pass failed or something similar, but it never gives me the oppertunity to enter my activation code for the online pass. Please help; it's now midnight on the west coast, still not working.

Platform: Xbox 360

There are a multitude of things wrong with this game from even a cursory glance.

1) The lag is terrible. I presume, however, that this will be fixed eventually.

2) I played seven games in a row all on the same map. I have played a total of 16 games, and only seen two maps in Team Assault.

3) This appears to be Battlefield: Bad Company 2 trying way too hard to be Call of Duty. The reason I quit playing Call of Duty, after years of being a CoD veteran, was because Battlefield was a better experience, in terms of entertainment, competition, and realism. This seems to be a huge leap backwards from where DICE came from, as though they are just trying to make a Call of Duty clone. I mean, there are even Killstreak Rewards, for goodness' sake (call them "Team Supports" all you want, they are Killstreak Rewards).

4) NO DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS. That is one of the three main reasons I quit Call of Duty in the first place; a rocket that hits a wall should KILL THE GUY ON THE OTHER SIDE. It's common freaking sense. An RPG just making a quaint little black spot on the wall should be an insult to anyone who has heard EA rant about how "realistic" the new Medal of Honor is. I, for one, do find it a total insult. It's as though EA is just dragging my face through a "ha ha, we fooled you" parade. I am quite upset by the utter lack of realism, especially after EA made it their biggest selling point.

5) As far as online FPS games go, it isn't a bad game, I guess, but there is nothing new that Medal of Honor offers, and frankly, other studios have done this formula much better. MoH really just brings absolutely nothing unique or original to the table. Instead of standing out as a landmark game, it's just a face in the crowd, and only a mediocre one at that.

All this having been said, I am very disappointed at my purchase of Medal of Honor. I am returning it to the store first thing tomorrow morning and asking for my money back. I hope they take it back, too, because I saved up to buy this game, and now I'm never going to play it again. I'm sorry, EA; I believed in you. I really did. But you really let me down. I know you guys can do better than this.

Here's some of my feedback, in bullet points.

I've played this game at E3, the first beta, and the most recent PC beta. I own the final product, and it's currently on Ebay.

-The game, overall (and especially SP), is graphically primitive. The only thing I like about the SP graphics engine is the ragdoll effect. The player animations (reload, sprint, knifing, etc.) look absolutely horrid in SP. This does not look like a $60 game, it doesn't even look like a $15 game. For the next MOH, I recommend working on an engine actually plays smooth and is up to date with modern times. Next time, 1080p, 60fps, and smoother controls.

-Let Dice work on Battlefield and let EA work on MOH. Spreading Dice too thin by overworking them on multiple franchises is obvious in the poor quality of MP. It's full of glitches, lag, and hasn't been fixed much since the first Beta.

-I thought hit detection was upgraded? Apparently not.

-Next MOH, add prone in MP. You can't compete in the FPS market if don't compete.

-I definitely like the score chain concept in MP

-There could be more MP maps and there seems to be a little too many choke points in each map

-The controls are still sluggish, just like in BC2. It could just be Frostbite, but still... Come on Dice.

I hope next time you'll learn from this experience and make the next MOH a better game.

The first hour on Team Assault was awesome. Then, people figured out that they could snipe into your spawn. PS, what's up with the lag? I really want to like this game, but...

To the OP:

TL;DR version: "I wanted this to be another Battlefield but it wasn't. /insert sad panda face."

I'm actually loving it. I really enjoy the Battlefield series... when I can KILL something. Awesome job on tightening up shot groups and making head shots actually do something other than make a "clink/clank" sound and * the other guy off, ending with you respawning.

Although this is a Battlefield: BC2 + Call of Duty * child, it's exactly what I wanted. Here's two things, however:

1) 40mm Grenade blast radius is a little shallow. Having personally been 20 meters away from a 40mm explosion, I can attest to them having an insanely small blast radius. However, 5 meters is completely feasible instead of how it's set now: a whopping 2 feet.

2) If an assault rifle just "pisses someone off" when you hit them in the legs or arms, Sniper Rifle rounds need to do the same. I'm sure all of the one shot kills people have gotten off of me haven't been center mass on the body nor were they head shots. We're talking people using red dots from one end of the map to the other. I'm also personally experienced with the M107, M24, and M110/SASS. I'm here to tell you, at 650 meters a 7.62x51 round, if the person is hit right below the collar bone, 2 inches from line of white on either side of his body, is going to make the target do a half-backflip-carthweel (true story). It's going to put them on their rear end. However, it's not going to take them out of the game (they may bleed out, but that's not the point). My apologies for rambling.

Honestly, the game seems well balanced aside from those two things. Shot groups feel really good and weapons feel balanced. I can't wait to play a few game modes aside from Deathmatch tomorrow when servers fill up.

The next time you need consultants, I'm for hire. Or at the very least, call the school house at Benning.

Singl player mode seems to be getting stuck. And suicide isn't even an option but I am able to pause and restart only to be stuck in similar scenes. Also code unable to be redeemed !

I too own the "final product" and I have to say - the graphics are competitive. Sure, it's not cutting edge technology, but with everything maxed, I'm running 60+ fps no problem and it looks really good. Upgrade your machine or buy for the console. As for the controls being sluggish - adjust your mouse sensitivity as mine are very intuitive, spot on, and very smooth. Having played Battlefield, they feel WAY more like CoD controls in terms of what I mentioned, and that's for sure a GOOD thing.
