I replaced my Wireless G+ Router with a Wireless N router and haven't had a single disconnect (yet). The thing is, my old router always showed a strong connection on the Wii.

Eric, this is the 1st time i've seen this. for the past hour when i try to go online its says at the top of the box "WARNING"
then it says "EA servers are down. Please try again later." i wanted to see if this was just for tiger 10 so i popped in madden and it did the same thing. whats up?!?!!? my wife's having cocktails with her girl friends and i want to play!!

first game - fine
second game - "lost connection with opposition" on the thrid hole, - not counted as win, ... ok it was only the 3rd hole
third game 16 holes, neck and neck, other player hit into water the connection lost - no win ....mmmmm funny time to dropout

another Newbie here. Yesterday and Today I had two disconnects without any influence on my ranking. Yesterday I played NutNut and at Hole 18, NutNuts first Stroke, the game disconnected. Today I played Simon2400(0?) and the Game or he disconnected. Both Games have been ranked, Game 1 NutNut leads with 5 Strokes, Simon2400 and I were even. I´m using a Belkin Wlan Router. By the way: Great Forum, very helpful People here with many Inspirations to play better. Sorry for my bad english, it´s been a while away to use it properly.

a minute ago i started to play anyone with a dude called curlysomething. the wii DCed during my putt for par on the first hole.

It happened to me several times 3-4 weeks ago. Attributed to 7 or 8 losses for me, which being in 5th place = ohhhhh about 300-400 points whereas most wins grant between 5-10 points. REAL FAIR.

I played "NutNut" with my glenmcd2 persona on Harbour Town. When he was 2 feet from the pin and I was making my approach on the 12th par 5, he disconnected. I did not get a win or loss, the game did not register at all. The disconnect happened at 9:50PM GMT+10 16th Oct 2009. This is the first time that something like this has happened to me. Unfortunately I was not video recording at the time (I normally do). In case it makes any difference he was 3 strokes behind, he was also on my blocked list. It was a weird time to disconnect, he had an eagle for certain and I hadn't reached the green yet. If I was 2 foot off an eagle and my opponent was hitting over water to a small green I wouldn't choose that moment to quit.

I've only noticed missing out on a game win due to my opponent disconnecting after the third hole twice in TW10. This may just be because I've started watching more carefully recently. Both times, my opponent was NutNut.

This time, we played at Fancourt links. I used my "glenmcd2" persona. At the start of the 15th hole par 4, the score was 36 to 39 in my favour. I was 3 ahead in the previous occasion also. I put my 2nd shot to within 3 feet from the pin. NutNut had already birdied. I lined up my putt and hit, and one fifth of a second later, the disconnect occurred. On the previous occasion, NutNut's ball was what looked like 2 feet from the pin.

After I stopped video recording, NutNut sent a message saying good game thanks etc. When an opponent disconnects, they normally do that because either their equipment malfunctioned, in which case they might send me a shock or crying smiley, or if they did it on purpose, sometimes they'll send the poking toungue out smiley. But someone that disconnects has never sent me messages of "good game", thanks etc. Until this time. It just seemed weird.

Here's timing information, and it should be accurate to within a few seconds, as I did video capture, had both start and end times stamped on the .avi file, and after calculated how much my PC clock changed when I did an internet time update and corrected for this 2 second error.

I putted from what seemed like the same position on the green (3 foot from pin) at 12:48:06 and disconnect happened at the time the ball was around half way to the cup.

I've had another disconnect that did not register as a win or loss, this time when I was playing as glenmcd2 against DAVID0206.

Davids putt looked like it should hole out, but instead it paused at the cups edge dead in line with it, and then suddenly appeared several inches to the right of the cup.
Disconnect happened at 22:23:21

Hello,
today at about 17:30 (MET) I had an "Lobby Server"-Disconnect. The Game I just played at this time was counted as an Lost for me. Maybe someone remembered playing against me and received an Lost Game also (hopefully?). Otherwise I couldn`t explain why the Game was counted as an Lost for me. Someone here who did make the same experience?

played blademaster today with my BountyKilla persona and won...at the end of the game it register a loss for me costing me some 40-50 points..can you review this..the game finished around 10.17 am EST..thanks

Disconnect today Thurs Oct 22 @ 4:35pm EST against WAD420. Error code 20100. Down by one at hole 4 or 5. System back up after 2nd try. Took 52 point loss.

from my own personal experiences:

if the other guy disconnects, for whatever reason, i get the win
if it's an EA disconnect, don't notice any change in my W-L record or ranking

game sets appear to have a limited shelf life. if it is created, but not begun within a timeframe, the game no longer exists. havn't been able to figure just how long that is. maybe eric can enlighten on that.

Hello--I have had several games counted against me as "quits" when I haven't quit. Why is that?
