Hmmz i don't like the Zonda R , it might be fast but difficult to controle.
The Mclaren f1 is a great car aswell, and the nissan gtr works is a pretty good accelerating car
about the veyron , pretty dissapointing..

For Supercars, I quite like the MacLaren F1 myself. It's very light, so it can easily be tossed around by opponent cars, but that's about the only drawback.
Aside from that for works'd cars, I found both of the Nissans to be excellent, particularly the 35 for handling at speed and the 34 for handling at lower speeds (short tracks).
I was really confused as to why there is a performance package for the Murc, but not for the others. Aren't Lambos very similar in mechanicals? Of course I've never actually worked on one...... I just didn't think that they had all that many different powerplants.
For non-worksed cars, I agree that the R8 is excellent.
It should be noted that the current belief is that opponent cars are not static in performance, but change according to the car you choose, therefore they will go faster if you choose the Lambo, but slow down a bit with the GT35.
In my opinion, that makes races significantly easier with the GT35 since the AI is slower, but the car isn't all that much slower than the Lambo in practice. I found the hardest races to be the ones where I used the Murc.
Additionally, because of this, I tended to spend a good chunk of the race jostling in amongst the AI cars when I chose the Murc. With the Gt35, I was usually able to take the lead in the first 30-60 seconds, after which I was just racing similar to a hotlap. This in itself allowed me to get 20-30 seconds faster times than if I was constantly struggling to fight for the line on a lot of corners. This 20-30 second advantage with the GT35 might be mirrored if I cared to do a bunch of hotlaps with the Murc with no opponents.
I would say that the best way to compare cars therefore would be by doing a hotlap with no opponents. Otherwise it is very difficult to compare car A to car B - even by comparing simple lap times.

in terms of the game rating the murc but it's odd to find that most other tier 3 works cars actually have better stats, in reality comparing the stats the vette with works has the longest bar on average also what i found odd is that the works upgrade doesn't seem to be as effective on the murc as out of all the tier 3 works cars it has the highest pre-works stats yet the lowest post-works stats. if it were upgraded the same amount as all the other cars you would think it would have all its stats maxed out. now im gonna go down my list for tight tracks with lots of turns i like the exige for tracks with long staights and no tight turns i like the veyron or the works vette for courses with both sharp turns but not that many and some straights i like the vette for drifting races i like the viper endurance yet again vette and thats about it

I am having a lot of fun with the Evo, not quite works. I am racing the Teir 2 car in Teir 3 and winning no problem, even in the challenges.
High speed wise, the R8 is very sweet, the AWD is awesome in NFS.

Did some quick testing tonight on Dakota National, to find a quick short course car. I'm not the best driver, so I don't expect my times to be great, just good enough to compare against each other
All Works converted, no tuning done.
Ford GT500 - 43.850
R34 GT-R - 42.960
R35 GT-R - 42.130
Corvette Z06 - 40.920
Lotus Elise 111R - 40.260 (Would hit max speed 2/3 way down main straight)
Lamborghini LP640 - 39.400

Favorite car in Shift? That's a tough one.
Cars that I'm glad they included, Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400, Ford GT, Dodge Viper SRT-10, Lancer Evolution X.
I know which car is my favorite, but specifically for Shift? And which one I enjoy driving the most? I couldn't say.

nfs_web.Hagge wrote:First I thought to Z06 where way to hard to handle, but after some tuning to make it grippier I have to agree that it's the best car. It's easy to break-turn it into curves to make it hold the race line at higher speeds that the other cars without losing grip too. Bradbury I really like your 6:28 around Nordschleiffe. I'd be watching if you post some more vidz
How did get more grip on the Vette?

Tks for this IVANO!
My problem now is on fine tuning.
I have the Pagani-R, the Murcielago and the Vette 06. I still think, specially if you test on SPA, the Vette will do better... but I'm still a n00b on fine tuning, so...

Personally i hate the Zonda's...they are nervous, make a wining sound thats like a dentist drill and you cant see anything because the car is so low, which sucks for racing..
Works Murcielago: Nice car but heavy..
Works Corvette ZO6: Very fast and the sound is awesome.
Works GT-R: Best handling car but underpowered to be really fast, no car to break out and slide.
Works Shelby 500: this is an underrated beast, same engine as a GT and good handling for small circuits
Ford GT: very fast and that sound is awesome but there's a problem with it bouncing alot.
McLaren F1: legendary but terrible in the corners, if you like noise and acceleration take it, otherwise dont bother.
Aston Martin DBR9: this is a bonuscar, goes like stink!
Works Lotus Elise: if you like carting take this one!
Works Evo X: superhandling but not a car for powercircuits.
So of these cars i prefer the Corvette, i had a nice 6:51:53 on the Nurburgring with the GT-R. then i took the Corvette and tuned it a bit, did a 6:30!
I must say i like alot of cars in this game, probably the only car i've not driven is the (bweh) MercLaren 722, i'm gonna sell it to a pi mp

i have a murcielago rated at 20.99 , i honestly don't think any car can go higher than that, I've been racing online the past 3 days in "rank and unrank " matches and i have successfully, over run every single one of my opponents even in a full grid (12 players) race, look up for me online my EA-ID is demondlord83.
