J:

We can start a Golf Purist Club (Tour Pro, stock controller, no glitching, precision meterless putting, etc ). However, I doubt if we can come up with the minimum 20 members.

TrueSwing Simulation Settings:

NO putt previews, NO putting meter, Expert aiming, NO grids on green.

Ok, another question,

In your setup instructions for creating our Club, you say that on Facebook, we should select Applications from the bottom left hand corner of the screen then select “Ads and Pages”. Select pages from the top to begin your fan page.

However, when I select Applications, it's not offering me "Ads and Pages". All I see in the popup list is Photos, Videos, Groups, Events, Notes and Gifts.

Now I am a complete Noob to facebook, so if you could give me a hint as to where I'm going wrong it would be much appreciated

I'd start one today, but I don't have a facebook account. I've been weary of starting one because I already have enough distractions to gobble up my free time. I can see what a drain Facebook would be to me, based on how much time my wife and kids spend with it. If I did start a club, I'd call it "No Aids Sim Purists" I'm sure I'd attract more enlistees than I could handle with that title

"Ball Arc Settings" - Will they really matter in Tiger Woods 13?

You can probably create such a club BUT it will probably come in dead last to exploiters ,glitchers and cheezers IMO
Its the way of the console play

Applaud EA on a great effort , would make a great live tour for TWO

Christian and DiFaz will jump on soon to start addressing some of the questions you guys are having...

This new event is really just aimed at allowing us to play the game together with you guys and try to "mix it up" a bit. We get that there may be some "holes" in the way this plays out, but we'd like to have you guys involved in the process of fine tuning it and making adjustments. This is just a week long version of what we hope we can turn into something much bigger...with your help.

Please feel free to send us your suggestions, comments and feedback on ways you think this might be more fun and engaging. And of course, if you have any questions about the existing format and how to create a club, please post here.

Thanks!

Hey guys, so far we have 2 large PS3 clubs but we need some more especially for X360 users. We are going to drop the standards down to having at least 5 members for this first week to get the ball rolling. So we need you to create some clubs or join the ones that are already created. Remember that your clubs can have both PS3 and Xbox players. All scores for your team, regardless of platform will be combined to get the club average score. Let us know any feedback that you might have; we are open to all suggestions to make live tournaments more enjoyable.

Current Clubs:
The Games Village, 19 PS3 players, 1 Xbox Player - 38 Fans
FTWG, 16 PS3 players, 0 Xbox Players - 31 Fans

I am sure some people have enough names to make 1 team. What are you guys gonna do about multiple names in the tourney for one user?

This question remains unanswered:

With this be Amateur or Tour Pro or combined?

Please keep in mind that there is a subset of your community that finds amateur play unappealing but would love to compete in something like this if it is Tour Pro only.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer this question.

This is definitly an issue. Players have already signed up for different groups under different user names.

What will EA do to prevent this? Not to mention the fact that it will be possible for an account to have multiple login names which could lead to multiple duplicates in the same club. Hell, I have heard that some guys have enough names to form their own group of 20 and 50 fans all under the same console, LOL

We might as well scrap this hole idea of groups competing against other groups if EA cannot prevent this from happening.

The entire idea of setting up group tournies for individual clubs is still a great idea BUT there is no way EA should have any kind of compitition for CLUB vs CLUB average scores if players are allowed to compete in multiple clubs under different user names.

I would like to hear EA's stance on this fact............

Yes, Good Question,

I believe I would make a good teammate on Tour Pro, but hell on Amateur I wont waste my time.

I would love to be on a PS3 Tour Pro team, but don't have the time to devote to creating a club and gathering the necessary fans. I have limited game and might help the club be average!

I have ONE PSN account, and can only join one club!

Question: Will this be stock courses? I would hate to think that one would be required to own a DLC just to participate in this.
