Sorry, I got a little busy this weekend, so I could not work on it. I will get started this week on something simple like just the personal feedback in the form of sentences (probably three or four lines) to get the site up and running.

I refactored some code I had from an old experiment and got the site up and running. There are advertisements on the site to support the webhosting cost. PM me on this forum if you see any issue or if you would like any feature added.

Looks very basic, but should do the job. It would be good if you could add a search function as well. I signed up and will start filling in some names tonight.

Oops, nevermind. I didn't realize "view" was actually the search.

Who is playerone?

It looks like almost every single review is by this person and all repetitive...

I love the idea and site however!

playerone is same as danplayer1. He was maintaining his own internal list of players who played anti-tennis. Today he uploaded them all to the site.

Most of my notes are based on strategies(by strategies I mean weaknesses a player has) and how good someone is..is that something the site would want?

Yeah that's me. Like lmi said, I was keeping my own list, mostly of players I felt played cheap or exploited the game in some way. I would just write down the persons name and whether they were mid-court, drop shot spammer, etc.

I stopped keeping a list a long time ago, so I couldn't remember the exact details of how each player played. I just copied and pasted a general description of some of the tactics they used. That's why it may seem a bit repetitive. But at least it will give other players an idea of what to expect.

I did provide more detailed feedback for some of my more recent matches such as: V1n1, DG, and a few others. I also left "good" reviews for lmi, Cobras, Wilso, Nef, Kenshin100, and Urineboy.

Sure. Anything related to Grand Slam Tennis player styles/strategies that you would like to share (and possibly lookup at a future date). I should admit that I won't have much time to police the site, unless something is brought to my attention as being way too offensive.

I think player strategies would be a good addition. However, for they sake of expediency, i think we should agree on a format like the one used for the GST fixes list. This would help us make quick decisions about whether or not to begin a match with someone.

I am thinking of adding some play style choices like play style while serving baseline/net/midcourt and play style while returning (same combinations) all optional to fill of course. That should give a quick glimpse of the player style you think?

Yeah maybe if you made it spreadsheet like in that theres something like this-

Name-------------------------Baseline----------Net---------All Court--------

PlayerXX-------------------------N----------------Y---------------N-----------
PlayerXY-------------------------Y----------------N---------------N-----------
PlayerYY-------------------------N----------------N---------------Y-----------

Like maybe a check mark thingy in addition to leaving comments, and maybe an Additional Info link for each player? Maybe thats more than what you're willing (or have time) to do which is definitely a-ok just thought I'd throw some ideas out there

I think implementing the play style choices is a good idea to give us a quick overview before a match. Maybe even some kind of rating system where people can rate the overall enjoyability of a match on a scale of 1-5 stars.

Also, it would be nice if there was a way we could edit these things. I realize I made a typo in a couple of players names, and my initial review of DGshowtime pegged him as a mid-court drop shot spammer (which he was), but he has since changed to a more baseline style of play. It would be good to make a note of that so other players don't avoid him based on the way he used to play.
