Thanks man, I'm kinda surprised I've moved up the rankings this fast I remember when I played Top Spin 2 and was in the top 50 (I think? its been a while, but I was like one of the only s&v players I knew of) it took a lot longer to rise. And yeah hopefully within the next week or two I'll hit the top 100 since I've already beat 5 or 6 people who are or were in it Also, having played tennis IRL since I was 12ish (and I'm 26 now) made learning this game easy :p

Anyways, yeah the match was good, I wish I could've made it a little closer, but every time I broke you broke right back. But yeah I'm up for more games any time you have time, I'm usually on nights for anywhere from 1-5 hours so just let me know on here (since the friend crap ingame is so unreliable)

I'd like to play some online matches where every single one of my serves isn't pummeled back at me for a winner.

Playerone suggested I play with you so I've sent you a pm with my contact details. Ping me back if you want to play a game. I play similar play style as playerone.

I hope we can play a rematch soon

Made it with about 8 hours to spare lol!

Hi All!

If I abort every Nadal and every match I can expect lag due to the distance: lets say 4 out of 10 remaining games are fun. Thats not bad, but could be better.

My most enjoyable games were with guys from the rankings 300-1000. They are fresh, good and not only focussed on points. I know the ranking system as it is means nothing and there are always exceptions in both directions, but this is my experience so far.

I hate mid-court camper and drop-shot-spammer. That does not mean, that someone is not allowed to come to the net or even to do a very short volley-drop-shot, its ok and I do it too from time to time, but I dont like people who do only one single thing again and again and...

So why do I write this? Nothing new

1. Like the topic, I want to play a 6 game match (1 or 2 sets)
2. I want to find some more people with a fun playstyle.

From all what I can read here, Im searching for a european version of lmi, playerone or Gotaplanstan(we played yesterday, all in all fun, but too much lag and resulting f*** servebug).

Finally about myself. I come from Germany. I play with Rodick. I love long baseline rallies, but I also come to the net when Im serving(not everytime). I dont play lobs or dropshots without a good reason and Im color-blind at the french open. Mostly I play in the europaen evening (6pm-8pm) in the week or in the morning at the weekend (9am-11am).

So, if that sounds good to somebody and you want to try me, just write here or PM me if you want to schedule a day/time.

Yeah I saw I was getting the servebug yesterday, and I apologize for actually taking advantage of it on purpose. Only reason I did (otherwise, if I'm playing someone I'm actually enjoying playing against I serve slower if I have it) was because me and Playerone had scheduled a few 3 setters and I lost track of time and was running late and making him wait with my match against you lol. So yeah, sorry about that, if we ever play again and I get the servebug you can count on slower serves

So with that said, if you ever do want to try a 3 setter with me or any of the other stateside baseliners I'm sure we'd all be up for it. Usually the common courtesy thing when someone who has serve bug has to hit slower serves is a friendly tap back (not attacking the wimpy serve lol). The only problem I've seen with this though is that the serve has an advantage with this method too since they get such a weak return off their serve. But, I suppose that makes sense since usually if you could have hit a bigger serve you most likely would've got a weaker return coming back anyways, so maybe its not such a bad way of doing it.

I think Nef is from Germany. You might want to try him. He's a good player and plays mostly from the baseline.

I sent you a pm. I'm willing to play a match sometime if you don't mind playing people from the US. I'm in NY. We can play unranked so there's nothing to lose. If the match is unplayable, we can quit and never have to play each other again

Thanks for the great match playerone!!!

The lag was acceptable. You seem to have a better connection than Gotaplanstan, so there is no need for a "european version of playerone"

Playing against your created guy makes me want to create a new one for myself. I will start this weekend. I hope it will not take too long. My first try was an allrounder and playing him was really frustrating. Thats why I switched to Roddick. Normally one should think an allrounder is good in everything. Not the best, but still "good". But in this game he has nothing(no speed, no serve, no power...).
I would had never choosen this typ if the manual would have half of the information I read recently here in the forum. After the lag-bugs is the manual the secondary worst bug(can you put it in your list lmi?).

And it was really fun and exertive to play with you. Normally I dont transpire when i play this game, but you managed it. So congratz! (And thx for correcting tiff. The insiders can replace "...?" by "!!!!" )

Nice Weekend everybody!

I'd guess thats because you're (matQ) in Germany, and Dan's (playerone) east coast USA and I'm midwest USA.

I'm looking for competitive players who want to play some good honest matches who have skill.
I've run into players who pull the same crap over and over again. They don't change it up and its really boring for me. Also I found a lot of lower levels under a thousand. Who when they win and I'm figuring out there style who when they beat me won't play me again! Now I see why they have there low ranking...`hen - play someone the more - play the more possible I come up with a plan to beat them. I've played dgshowtime or whatever his name is and some others like him and I think they know your getting better or catrching onto their styles so when I run into them thwey refuse to play me. The game can take 3 min of there time if they win every shot so why wouldn't they want to give us another shot unless they don't want to loose. That's all I can think of anyway. Its very weak. And then u have the guys who flick the ball back to u from a serve so fast that to return it your timing and direction has to be perfect. Well I became good at returning this move but most of these players who do bthis, I call them cheaters they have no other game!!!! So when I did miss these shots and incluing the unforced errors like the stupid net and the ball going out I would loose!! And I felt like we didn't even play the game!!!! U know what I'm talking about I'm sure. Well anyways my name is teamdienno and I'm loo
king for some real players who want to have some fun matches with me. I am competitive but not to the point that ill do anything to just win. Then it. Becomes very boring. So look for teamdienno if u want to play more than one match at a time. I like a challenge so I sure the more u play me the harder it will be for me to beat you unless u beat me right from the gate!!
