ive noticed you can use ph instead of an f and get some bad sounding words, such as phart. I am all for an optional filter to be user started. some of the people i play with like to joke, im not offended nor do i mind, but i wouldnt want my son or daughter to read it either.

Does EA have player age asssociated with identities? If so, maybe you could make it optional only for those 15 (pick an age) or over, mandatory if younger.

The chat filter is out of control I was trying to say "isn't it" in the chat, and it came out as "isn'****".
This is ridiculous! On the plus side, it doesn't seem to recognize french swear words, such as merde.

One of the things it filters is the combination of words: "... but the..."

Can you believe that??? Some of the most frequent words in the English language, and you can't say "but the" on this site! You must say "yet the" instead!

Incidentally, what's wrong with the word "butt", even if I wanted to say it? I think any person who believes a word like butt needs to be filtered out, should get some specialist treatment. Don't go overboard with this, please.
