Ok, try this one...

Made for only one decade (the 70's)...
English made...
RWD or FWD (Depending where in the world you were)...
Multiple body styles (2 door, 4 door, 5 door)...
Described as one of one of the worst cars ever...

Think of a division of a now defunct auto maker along with the first clues...
OK, it was sold as a 4dr saloon, 5dr estate, and 2dr coupe, van & pick-up

That's a lot of body types.

But I really have no idea this time. Perhaps its a Leyland or a Morris of some sort?

I was hoping that someone else might remember these cars, my family went from a Buick Wildcat to an Austin Marina and litterally watched it fall apart after two Canadian winters. Too bad, it was kind of fun being the first "normal" standard car I drove in the back forty. My first experience being with a "three on the tree", the Marina was a treat in retrospect. Well, I can't offer you the year supply of Rice-a-Roni, that San Francisco treat, but you have won a chance to play again!!!

-It is a sport compact car
-Introduced to NA in the year 1988
-There was a coupe, hatchback, and convertible
-Production ended in 1998
-It is a Japanese car
