Well, as I join this community (yay for me, doubt anyone else cares...), let me state that (the lack of) dedicated servers are the reason I ever even considered moving away from the CoD line.

From what I have seen of BC2, so far, it looks great. Dedicated servers make it even better.

Glad to be here... IW did a faceplant.

Please creat a Host Function for xbox 360 and ps3. We want play Clan Wars. A Host Function make the life of a Game realy longer.

Please give us more information about this realy, realy importent function.

I need to reinstall Battlefield 2142 to get some of the rust off. I'm glad that they are doing deds. OFP and MW is the 2 biggest let downs I have ever been a part of. However I always liked the EA's games and the big maps with lots of playing options.

Good job EA and please let me be in on that PC testing like I was for Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142.

Please, i hope of an answear about the dedicated server function in the consoles version
I hope so that the function is available on xbox 360. A good esport game is very importent

BC2 will Rock with Dedicated Servers I need a fresh MP experience {enough of COD }in 2010 and BC2 is exactly gonna give me that!

Hi guys (community guys and DICE guys)

This is a PC question,

I know this game has dedicated servers and all (hence the thread)

But will DICE be hosting their own official servers?

I live in Malaysia (Next to Singapore) and I'm afraid the low income levels of the people here may prevent them from hosting dedicated servers due to high costs involved. I hope DICE can host some servers in our area (South East Asia) preferably in Singapore due to it's high technology level in telecommunications/more bandwidth there. An example would be Team Fortress 2 where Valve hosted around 5~10 servers there.

If this comes true I will be the first one in line to buy the game along with the thousands of die-hard battlefield fans here =).

IDK about Singapore specifically, but I'd be willing to bet that they'll host their own dedicated servers -- they have for every PC BF game to date..

So far dice have said a lot about pc gamers getting dedicated servers. Does this mean there will be dedicated servers on the ps3? Or does psn dictate what kind of servers are available?

Please DICE, give the console players (Xbox 360 and PS3) a hope. We want play clan wars on consoles. For the PC fraction is this a very, very importent feature and for the console players too. PC players have become from DICE a statment about the Dedicated server system. What is with the consoles?

I have played BF1942, Battlefield: Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield: 2142, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Battlefield: Bad Company 1, Battlefield: 1943 and now I am back on Battlefield: Bad Comany 1 and I wating of my lovely Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

I like the Frostbite Engine with the destruction Engine (now 2.0). It's so great to play Battlefield game's from DICE. I have buy "Modern Warfare 2" but i missing the Destruction and this have only Bad Company 1, 1943 and the coming soon game Bad Company 2.

My hope is very great, that DICE include a system for Clan Wars. When DICE make a Clan System and a LAN System for Bad Company 2. It will be the best BATTLEFIELD game EVER that we all have seen on Xbox 360, PS3 and on PC.

Please DICE, give the console players a chance to proof that console can have good and professional clans.
