NHL 10 Title Update is out

i just want to be take of the gay spider helmet and use a normal one. but none of them have boost slots

Xbox patches always download very fast.

But can EA confirm that you have to have a 3-slot unlocked to get an authentic one.

I still don't think this is it whether it downloaded fast or not and im on ps3 but, I just played a couple games and was still able to pin players to the boards while they were skating away from me.

I can bet my balls that there is something wrong with the patch.......for 360 that is. Perhaps we have to delete something to be able to redownload the patch. Is it enough if i delete the profile or how do i delete patch? I didn't see NHL 10 patch indication in my harddrive....not sure if im suposed to either.....can someone confirm this?

Just clear your cache.

It was bad enough that I couldn't change strategies in EASHL games without pausing it (i.e. crash the net, overload)...

Now you've taken the Team Management menu away in the pause menu...

Team management still works for me. Offline anyway

You have to hit start in order to see it. If someone else hit start then u can change it.

It actually was me that hit start.. in an EASHL game, not offline....

The menu is gone. Same thing happened to my teammate when he was the one who hit start. It's not just greyed out - it's GONE. This pisses me off immensely.

Oh, well try using the direction pad to make the changes.

Other then that I have no idea what to tell you.

You can tell me that you'll tell the developers this pissed off their customers.

Using the D-pad in EASHL games doesn't allow you to set strategies, only pressure levels... we now have NO way to tell a CPU controlled forward, for example, NOT to set up behind the net because it's useless against the team we're playing..

Sorry, but this is totally HORRIBLE.

Patch is very good for the game. But I have questions : How i can leave the fight via LB button ? ...

I actually really like the patch... just played one game with it and already noticed a difference. You can actually score on a nice passing play and im not talking about the cross crease pass either. Also more realistic when it comes to rebounds from point shots. Feels like you can score on shots from anywhere or at least have a decent scoring chance on half board shots set up nice. Also passing seems to be alot better too. actually had 78% pass percentage on that one game I played.

Anyways I like it. Defending cross crease passes seems easier too.... the D men in the right spots will prevent cross creasers since the D men will/can prevent passes behind them now... i've seen it happen in my one game.

In addition to losing the Team Management menu in EASHL games, another issue -- the "new curve shot" or whatever you want to call it is definitely not fixed.

It's harder to score than the '09 curve shot, as it requires some traffic... but it's still an awful, awful glitch goal, especially in EASHL games where you don't have a lot of humans online at the same time... very easy to exploit since CPU AI is so predictable...

Its gone on mine too but I really don't care because if you have all humans you dont need it. Its not like you need to tell line two to crash the net lol
