Wow, you must have a bad memory...
When Marino played ... they won BECAUSE of him ... It was rare that Marino was responsible for a loss due to poor play. Marino Never had a running game and never had a good defense either. The team was built around the offense and ironically had great defenses and running games for years AFTER he retired.
Brees is playing more like Warren Moon more than Marino.
Marino never played with progression the way QB's do today.

Brees running game is a fluke this year... before this year his run game was nowhere, his defense was not good at all, and he was the only player winning for them. Obviously you never watched Football before this year so it's ok.

And unless I'm mistaken, haven't you said the same thing about Peyton Manning, yet Peyton has a ring?
Brees knows how to win the big games.
Brees lost all the big games he's been to... He lost to the damn Jets in the playoffs LOL

Man it's funny how when it's the Patriots it's never a fluke because they're always good, but when it's any other team, it's a fluke.

I don't see how the Patriots is a fluke... the Saints running game was bottom 10 last year, and this year they are top 10... mostly from playing scrub teams... I mean anyone can get 100+ on the Lions and Bills where they got pretty much half their yardage from LOL

A Rod hasn't even been to the playoff yet... He's been starting for one year LOL. I can see them winning games in the PO's... Brees hasn't even won a Playoff game his whole career and he's 30 now

For example, Tom Brady didn't lose the Superbowl against the Giants, the New England Patriots did.

Even Touchdowns are a team thing so I should have a argument that Ryan Leaf is the best QB of all time because his stats were because of his team. LOL

Brees is still young so you never know..I mean look at John Elway, he didn't win his first superbowl till he was 33
Yeah, Brees was drafted in 2002. Marino played for like 17 years. And Brees has been unfortunate not to have a defense to support his teams until this year.

You could say the same thing about Peyton Manning in his early years, but he still got the job done w/o a decent D.
ps: He's only had TWO seasons w/ less than 10 wins (last one was in 2001 )! How can ANYONE say Brees is better? lmao...homers.
