Well some would say the same thing about those who think visual customizations are pointless. You are not a stupid person, are you?....
Now now gentlemen, no need to get snippy with each other!
I was hoping he would get the point, that the NFS games have lost many features and content over the years. The reason being, someone made the case that this feature or that feature was pointless and EA droped it/them from the preceding NFSs. Now he's making the case to bring back a feature that was dropped and at the same time making the case why another feature/content is pointless. It's a very self defeating strategy, where only EA wins and the customer/fan loses. EA can drop more features/content and charge more and try to justfyu by saying, "we saw that the fans were going in another direction so we made the decision to drop certain features and content to be ahead of the curve."
So let me prose simple resolution. Lets make the case for the features/content we want in a game and stop making the case for why we should not have this or that in the game.....

Agreed.
EA dropped too many important features thanks to the 1-year-grind . If I had joined the forums earlier I would get the point.
According to the recent interviews with EA's directors ,NFS was dropped out of the 1 year grind in order to be a more successful product. They've thrown too many features that can't be made for an year.
Nevertheless,the skepticism continues.

See, there's a simple solution to most problems.
I love the replays also, you can replay those rare special events.
