The key word is BUY, they will figure out a way to get more money out of people with this.

Has anyone had any trouble getting cards they buy in the auction screen? I bought a chris johnson legendary card and it shows in my bids i bought it but its not in my deck.

i don't think you have a choice but to download it. it made me d/l before getting online when it came out.

i don't play FIFA, but what you say is true. you do play other teams with the same players regularly and no one wants to play a team with higher ratings.

here's my take after checking out ... where online franchise is like the NFL was before free agency in many respects, this is like "pure free agency" where no player is "owned" but merely rented.

and unfortunately, it does look like a cheesers paradise where manipulation and "putting the fix in, in advance" will eventually be the rule of the day.

this is definitely not for the purist, but i'm sure it will appeal to a certain segment who think that fantasy football is real football and 12 year olds who like to play card trading games like yuh gi oh and the like. the only hope for more traditional players is that this section will peel off some of the cheezers and 12 yr olds from the regular games.

It had a lot of potential but everyone and their dog who put money into it is stacked. And people who chose the high route and felt like working for the "ultimate team" are getting hosed by the terrible game play. . . Everything too expensive and the whole renting idea doesn't work. Add in the crap state they released it. I don't understand how this hasn't become more of an ordeal. No one could possibly enjoy this, paying or not paying. If you do you're a loser and have no soul.

I spent $2 on gold packs to start with. 15 games later I'm 15-0 with an OVR of 92 and chemistry of 60.

I buy packs, auction off the players I don't want and that pretty much pays for the pack I bought and I get to keep good players on my team and was able to buy Brady and extend his contract 12 games.

It is fun playing human players with an ultimate team. It's fun trying to manage your cards, contracts, which cards are more important to keep as contracts are expiring and deciding who to extend.
