This game is awesome, but FPS on the PS3 are just not for me. I cant get used to aiming properly with a controller after playing FPS games on a PC for 10 years.

I still like to play the game though, I seriously hope I will get in the PC beta aswell.

Agreed it is amazing, but you should adjust the sensativity to mke it feel more like PC.

Was playing the beta, and I've noticed this about the recent BF games.. The text is wayy to small. Maybe it's my TV?

@oilersguru, I tried to change the sensitivity but it just wont work for me. I cant get used to the fact that it takes me 3 seconds to put the cursor on someones head as a sniper whereas I would only need a split second for that on the PC.
That being said, this game will get a nice #2 on my wishlist for 2010.

I think they will have beter options in the final version, maybe give it a rent when it comes out to see if it is better.

I've been a fan of Battlefield since 1942 and the forgotten hope mod. Heck even did some "Battle for Europe" events. I'm not interested in a beta since I got full games to play but I'm really looking forward to BF2's multiplayer which I prefer over MW. Even though BF1's single player was meh, it was still better then the same scripted scenes and spawn closets that MW1 had. BF2's the main reason I didn't get MW2 since I figured like the first one, MW would only interest me in MP but I would eventually spend more of my time on BF2's MP when it comes out with MW2 just collecting dust, so I got L4dead2 instead to hold me over.

Yeah I had the same problem 4 years ago when I moved from years of playing PC to the Xbox360. I was just getting destroyed in Halo2 and most of the time it was just controls. However practice makes perfect and now I can snipe and do headshots in COD, GOW2, and Halo3. It's worth getting use to the sticks cause it's very easy to go from PS3 controller to Xbox360 controller and some games like Resistance2 and Gow2 are only on the consoles with no option of a PC version. The good thing about console shooters is there is WAY less cheating going on(the worst it gets is modified controllers) and it's less about who has a $2000 computer with 300 FPS and more about everyone being on equal ground technically with the same setup and frames per sec.

I'm going though a similar problem again cause I just ordered an Arcade stick and I'm trying to get use to doing street fighter/ virtual fighter moves with it but I'm still not as good as I was with a gamepad (still better then if I use a controller with analog sticks).

PC Beta starting on the 25th of January. Closed Beta though, so you are going to have to pre-order at Gamestop in order to receive a beta key.
