I'm in. Actually I started yesterday, is that a problem? Do I need to start over? Day 2's workout was too simple for me and only burned 150 calories so afterwards I did the 30 minute step aerobic workout - LOVED IT.

Today was my "rest" day but I did the 30 minute step "class" again. I really do like it. I burn 600 calories and really work up a sweat.

I would not start over if I was you! You can give us insight like the light workout on day 2 so we can plan ahead. Are you on easy, medium or hard? I am trying to decide between hard and medium for my first time through, I am leaning toward medium.

Oh I'm sorry to hear you will be getting it on the 20 Th but I would have to say well worth the wait. As for me I will have little advantage the first progress of the ea active sports have imported credit to my new excellent. I see my hard work goes in. Also I'm now using old for the gaming fun also just for light workout extra for the days I feel like doing more. Yea the new is set for us lefty I just got to do that second day and I love.Although it would be easy for me to use lefty all the time I think just for change up I will do on righty just to balance out a challenge. Anyone that are righty may want to try lefty in game modes just to challenge yourselves, I know on the first Active sports it was quite a challenge to get use to doing it right handed. But I think that would only make it easier to try to do it on the new active sport since I got use it. Funny that is I may have to get use to do it back on the left again he he he. I like so far what I see and today will be my 3 day so I'm really not going to be that far ahead.

Progress report I well I have been doing aside from the EA Active sports some training on the kettle bell I have done it for 6 weeks took a break from my workout for a month and got right back into kind of a reset to my body. I must even with the doing the kettle bell training which is a little more difficult, when starting ea Active sport I started in advanced mode I still feel the workout and the challenges from the workout. Today I'm going to restart my work for third day it was a little differant doing the boxing and kicking, it was partly me and party the wii balance board to get an understand of it. I had to take wii fit out to which I haven't used in a while to re-calibrate the wii balance board. The wii Active said it was fine but I just think it need minor adjustment also reinstalled rechargable battery. Did my test for today and works great I'm back in business. For those that don't have the wii balance board for the advance wii board boxing part if you want a full challenge and fun you will enjoy the kick boxing advance with the wii balance board it really sharpen your speed and coordination skills. Hope every is ready for the long road we face as I am looking forward to every step of the way.

Ps. Those of you just starting this game there is point during your workout if it is becoming too easy or too hard you may be able to set it up or down in the setting button below which will bring up the setting screen for you workout, you don't have to restart. There you will see where you bump it up one or down. So your not locked into a level maybe your having a bad day and you want to lighten your work out load that option comes in handy. A tip also remember you can skip some exercise your not quite ready for. Just remember you control how intense you want to workout. As for me I love the challenge and I'm going to go hard all the way. For those just starting out and since this is a six week challenge you may want to start out in begin mode even if it is easy get use to it then maybe at your half way point bump up to medium level just to give yourself that extra challenge. To me this game seem to be more challenging than the first active sports to which I started out on beginners and move up to advance and beleive me there is a differance . If you had the first then you know what I'm talk about.

Insight on the new game so all I can say is it is going to be quite a challenge and I feel the rewards begin to happen each time and day I workout. I look foward to doing the workouts sometimes to the point where I have to force my rest days to allow for the body to catch up. That is why I chose to take a month off from working out because when I got the new active sports I knew I was going to get more intense with my fitness program.

My advise from what read here on the forum on what level to start and insights on the work out. If you feel nervous on where to start and your a beginner start in beginners even if it feels easy just to get your body use to the forms of exercise. Review the videos for the proper forms do the exercise and if you don't feel you didn't do the excise right or didn't have the proper form stop between your reps hit the minus button for review video again. Then start the exercise again if you feel like you wanted to restart that exercise again push the plus button to bring up exercise menu and hit the restart button or if you want to skip exercise button and try again later.Never let yourself think you can't do the exercise, there is always a new day you can try again to where you will do better. There are some of my tips as I get more into the game I will fill you in on some more ideas

Yaay! It arrived just in time! I imported my previous profile in 10 seconds and got started. So much fun! After the day one workout I also did the step aerobics. I think that is a great option and will make it way more fun for me. I really enjoyed the warm-up and cool-down. Of course, the sparring was da bomb. So much so that my twins had to have a go too. They are doing the custom and not the challenge. But hey if a couple of 11-yr old boys want to do a little boxing - no problem!
I am really pleased so far. I was getting really bored with the original version after 4 30-day challenges.

Thanks EA - I can't wait to exercise again tomorrow!

Did day one today. I'm impressed. Only thing I don't like is it makes you take 3 days rest. I know I can override on the day. But why 3 days? I always take a day, but never 3.

Anyways I love the new boxing. Did really well on it. But I loved the old too. I really need to dig into it this weekend when I have time. I saw a lot of stuff I liked but didn't have time for.

I did workout number one this afternoon! I decided to do it on hard and it really had me dripping sweat at the end. A great workout.

3 days rest sounds a little crazy for me, too. I figure I will just put in some preset workouts on the scheduled rest days that I want to work. There is a lot to explore like step aerobics and Island Cardio Blast!

Can't wait until tomorrow for workout #2.

Started mine today too. This is going to be a good challenging game. I started on hard. Are we goiing to have a weekly weigh in like some of the previous challanges?
ea did a good job on this one.

Picked mine up late from the post office yesterday and didn't get a chance to look at it. Put it in this morning and did the 30 minute step aerobics workout. Loving it! I may even go get a real step to use. I'll have to check out the rest when I have time later.

35047171 : Did you know there is a riser for the Balance Board that makes it like a step?

Works really well. Just don't weigh with it as it thinks I am going up and down 60# in a day

This is the one I have

there is this one too but its double the price for the same thing

Did workout #2 on hard this afternoon. It was I good workout with some new moves.

The crossover lunges felt awkward at first and I almost lost my balance for awhile. Halfway through the first cycle I had it under control and no problems on the second reps a little later in the workout. On both cycles, at about the 4th or 5th rep, the game rushed through two reps and my avatar followed along just as fast without me moving...causing me to have to rush to catch up. I'll be interested to see if this is isolated or if everyone will experience the same thing and it is a bug. Time will tell!!

I think that 2 reps of 16 pushups is a little aggresive for someone like me who isn't used to them...but I did select the hard workout. I tried to do at least 10 on my toes each time and then switched to my knees to finish them off. I lot of improvement to see here. I can see a lot of improvement in the abs work, too. They felt a little clumsy but just because I need so much work on my abs. It WILL improve!!

I'm taking a real rest day tomorrow with no workout because of other obligations. Then I will be back at it on Monday. I'm looking forward to trying some extra presets on my extra rest day this week ...three rest days are just too many for me!!!
