I couldn't disagree with you more...

How would it be easier to do a board slide and remove depth if you add controls to board slides?

If this was added then you would have to do MORE in order to perform and land a boardslide. And how could giving
the player more options remove replay value.....?

P.S. the replay editor already can film for you........if you want........its called follow, game, or tripod cam.

along the same lines, i really hope they fix kinked rails/ledges, i want my skater to react to the kink, not stand up straight like it isn't there. and also i dont wanna fly out of kinks, unless its a short one and ive got alot of speed when i hit it etc.

I'm not really saying to completely remove popping out of boardslides
really just give us more of options of out to get out of the trick

its like all these tricks they put in the game, not everyone will want to use them but its still there for those who do

I think they need to turn down everything when your in a grind. I don't like how we can do full ollies out of boardslides.

In other words, there is Skate. 2, right in front of you on your T.V. You're given a very deep set of controls, animations, and options. It's up to you to decide how to hit a spot, what angle to come onto the spot, and how to manipulate your controller to make it look as clean and make it function as a trick properly.

If everything in Skate. is completely deliberate with a set control, it would get very boring and repetitive. Kind of like doing a kickflip over simple gap in Skate. right now. It's not hard, it's not unheard of, and it's not artistic (like real skateboarding). Anyone can kickflip a gap in Skate.

I'm pretty soused, so excuse the rant-style writing. I'm just trying to point out that there's a separation between recreational Skate. players and hardcore Skate. players. The recreational player is not going to figure out how to lean out of a boardslide like that, it's not that obvious to the non-skater or inexperienced skater. The hardcore player is just going to get bored with the easy controls. Skateboarders are creative people and like challenges when it comes to skateboarding. We like the reward that comes from accomplishing a trick... where does that personality go if everything is predetermined and written in a handbook?

you stated everything Ive ever wanted to mention when it comes to people and the highly overrated Fad that has become a style. I don't mind it to be honest, but majority of people who come here now will look at most videos and try the same stuff, Ive watched many people change their interpretations of skateboarding into that certain style. SLOW PACED, PRECISION, ULTRA REALISM ETC. its gotten boring for me now. Iunno bout you guys. Its funny watching so many people agree upon how they enjoyed watching the persons video, even though its not very different from the Majority. No Offense to anybody who skates like this, just make the stuff appealing, and don't try to please with ease.
