I have to say that the main increasing problem with the nhl series is not the game but the people who play it.

Many ask for more realism but choose an unrealistic style of play.

Out of 50 games I play online i'd say 47 of them are unsatisfactory, and I'm playing to punish those who take the fun out of it for me.

The checking is a little over done, like Mitch said, but it's much more realistic and fluent than anything we've ever seen before. "Out of control" is a bit of a stretch, and I'd appreciate not being called a moron because I disagree with you.

Also, games not registering is a server issue. Are you saying that the servers have regressed? Or the game? Because if your club games never register (even though it's only ever happened to my club once) then I can see why you think the game isn't as good as 10, but the gameplay and everything else being better in 10 than 11? I have to disagree. Completely.

Guys this is a 3 year plan it won't be perfect yet wait for the progression in 2 years and if not better then criticize.

Regarding Box score, you have to wait until both team logo's appear.

If you try to enter when it stills hows EA Sports it won't load.

Many people ask me why I sign off 'til we meet again.' It's because goodbye is so final.

First, 11>10, no question.

Second, there's one solution to the club games grief - don't play with a club.

Third, the NHL (and only the NHL) allows most checks from the behind as long as it isn't boarding or excessively violent.

Fourth, hitting IS much better. It is a physics engine, the first year EA has had one for NHL. It isn't going to be perfect, but it is actual physics affected by stats.

Totally agree with you on that. Sure there are some points where it may be over the top. But taking it from an overall perspective, the game is far better from what we've seen in the past.

As for the games not registering, I haven't had that problem ever this year, maybe once or twice in NHL 10. But like you said, it's most likely server related.
